“I was very glad when the cafeteria opened, as I don’t like chain coffee shop and now I can just buy good coffee from local shop instead of 15 mins driving to Blue bottle. I always go with latte, and it is okay ish - it is definitely better than chain coffee but in my mind not up to other boutique cafes like blue bottle/verve, and not even to latte I made at home sometimes (and I don’t have an expensive Lamarzoco machine). Also as others pointed out, it is too milky with large cups. But the price is the same as the other boutique cafes! I was surprised when I first noticed the price: close to $8 for a grande latte? Anyways, still happy that we have a nice local coffee shop, but please keep the price reasonable for locals to support happily.“

“For those like me who care about the quality of ingredients and avoid unhealthy foods this place is great! No artificial additives, real milk and zero sugar options. And the large cup is actually large . I got jasmine tea with zero sugar and zero ice, 3 portions of red beans and 1 portion of boba“

“Amazing tea with great variety! Accidentally stumbled across this place, have returned since, and am never disappointed! The milk tea boba is great, but the Super Fruit green tea with passion fruit popping boba is next level. The fresh fruit slices mixed in with the tea are a refreshing surprise and the fruit is always ripe and delicious. I tried the grapefruit fruit tea today as well which hit the spot! Would definitely recommend checking out Tea Juice!“

“I had wheat grass shot! I enjoyed talking with everyone at this shop and was able to park my bike outside and still keep an eye on it from inside! The was feeling bad with brain fog and fatigue and after I left I felt great! Definitely will come again and will bring my family to try as well! “You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. My friend accidentally ordered the wrong item, and staff were happy to fix it. The shop is small with few tables, but it’s very neat and clean“

“TeaHut in Millbrae is great for fresh, real fruit tea. The Mango Pomelo Sago is a must-try—perfectly sweet with real ingredients. The Full Cup of Strawberries & Black Grapes is refreshing, with whole, in-season grapes. Cozy spot, and parking is convenient too!“

“I bought a fruit cup at the Earth Bar in LAX because the fruit looked like there was a possibility that every piece might actually be ripe. I was pleasantly surprised to discover every piece was indeed ripe-kiwi, mango, pineapiple, and grapes. This is a first for me in mass-marketed fruit cups.“

“It was fun going during the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!“
