Excellent quality of coffee, I remember drinking my first cup and literally travel back to Perú, if you are a coffee lover and have knowledge about it, this is the place. Thank you to the owner for ground my coffee beans and being so kind.

The vegan empanadas are amazing. Really enjoyed the peaberry coffee as well, which was totally new to me. The vibe was nice and I fully intend on coming

It was a rainy, gloomy day but the owner was so friendly and explained about coffee beans. I tried the Peabody which I've never seen on any other menu. Albert, who is a regular and a good friend of the owner treated me to my first cup of coffee. I've actually never had anyone pay for me before so it was quite different and unexpected. What a great way to start a Monday and the holidays. Thank you both.

Very friendly. Good latte with good foam. Served quickly. I like that there is a walk up window.

Hands down the best coffee I've ever made at home. Flown here from their Peruvian farms. Very great quality!

Now this is a real coffee place.. and when I say real I mean a single source coffee outlet.. The dude who served me coffee has been growing the coffee for many, many years... That's the kind of connection that I want to support... A non-corporate farming operation out in Peru, is what we all need to support in light of Starbucks and Peet's coffee putting a bad taste in people's mouth and destroying the environment while using pesticides... The service was immaculate. You could tell that this dude flies back and forth to his real coffee farm.. this is what real business is about , supporting small, passionate people who do it right. Definitely the best cold brew I've ever had and I picked up a few pounds of their coffee beans which are literally better than anything. I've bought an in stores and on amazon.

Hidden away in a low traffic part of San Carlos - this place is a hidden gem for coffee lovers. Got an espresso made with their house roast - which I would highly recommend. Service with a smile and some great food and snacks from local merchants available

It’s a Peruvian coffee place and coffee is so good I would recommend coffee lovers to go there and taste them selves. The owner is so pleasant and offers lots of advice on his ground coffee

If you call yourself a coffee lover and live in the San Carlos area but haven't found yourself at Papachay, stop reading and head there straight away. I promise, there is nothing on Laurel St nearly as good as this.Max and the team are SO wonderful, as is their coffee! If you're a cold brew fan, this is the place. Their in-house syrup is so delicious and pairs perfectly splashed into a cold brew with a dash of oat milk. The prices are SO fair and the coffee is roasted IN-HOUSE! The coffee beans are brought over from Peru and you can tell – the freshness is unavoidable.I'm no longer living in NorCal but every time I return to the Bay, Papachay is a must-visit!

Great customer service, good coffee! Limited parking in front. Only outdoor seating available on a few benches. Great place to grab coffee to go.

Such a great "off the beaten path" spot! Good coffee and a stellar ambiance. Plenty of sunshine and a few happy plants. Brown sugar latte with oat milk was pretty tasty.
