Another fabulous dining experience at Brussels Bistro. We celebrated my husband's birthday here on the All You Can Eat Mussels night. He was in heaven. Our server, Abby, was excellent and lovely. This restaurant is a true gem in San Clemente.
Excellent lamb shank, exceptional salmon in leeks and coconut milk, fantastic shredded chicken and mushrooms in cream and beef bourginoun was over the top. Really attentive service. Food served hot. Love the music and lighting. Good value—please keep it that way and we'll be back.

Very nice Belgian bistro with great staff on San Clemente main drag. Belgian owned and Belgian managed, the food is genuine and well executed. Cocktails are inventive and very well balanced. Good choice of Belgian beers. The staff is a great team that genuinely enjoy their work and it shows in their dedicated customer service.Bill comes in a Belgian passport facsimile, nice little touch.

Paid for a $14 IPA and got this, unfortunately when I asked the bartender for a new beer “this is our standard for pour beer” points to the 10 or 9oz line on the glass. Great food and service but terrible pours. Lol apparently my father in law had the same issue with terrible pours a few months ago so this isn’t an isolated

Always such a fun place. I am Belgian and loved coming here with visiting family from NY. Focus on the mussels and waffles which are made perfectly and in so many ways! :) and if celebrating a birthday or other achievement you will be greeted with Belgian tradition!!
Food was amazing. Such a creative menu. Totally different types of dishes than you normally see. Cocktails were extremely tasty too. Service was top notch. We went as a family but this would be a great date night spot too! All around A+ experience.

We love it here. The food is always delicious. I feel like they could work on the cocktails. The enchantress is just way too fragrant. I like a good well balanced vodka cocktail. The bread and butter always good the garlic shrimp delicious request the bread comes out with the shrimp so you can dip the bread in the garlic sauce. The Caesar salad is average would not order it again . The creamy chicken was delicious, so was the carbonara. My boyfriend loves the mushroom soup. Hoping one day they'll have a French onion soup. 
Wife had bad allergic reaction to lamb shank. Staff did not seem to care at all. Mussels were thin, flat and served in less quantity than in the past. In the past they were plump, fresh and of good size and quantity. With the chicken dish, and side of asparagus, all veggies were so hard we could not even put a fork into them. Unlike past visits, mussels did not even taste fresh. We have been going here for years. We doubt we will ever return.

The trout was delicious. Our waitress was chill and wonderful. My only suggestion would be to have slightly dimmer lighting. it's hard to compete with the one in Laguna because it's essentially an underground nightclub but this place is a close second.
