Fig313 is an absolute gem in the fine dining scene. From the moment you step in, the elegant ambiance sets the stage for a truly memorable culinary experience. The quality of the food is nothing short of outstanding—each dish is crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. What truly sets Fig313 apart is the balance it strikes between top-tier cuisine and reasonable pricing. It's rare to find such high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes at prices that feel more than fair for what you're getting. Whether you're in for a special occasion or just treating yourself, Fig313 delivers exceptional value. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates gourmet food, impeccable service, and a refined atmosphere without the inflated price tag.
Dining at Fig313 was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of excellent—each dish was cooked to absolute perfection, with great attention to flavor, texture, and presentation. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into every plate that leaves it. Whether you're into rich, hearty mains or lighter, more refined fare, there's something on the menu to impress any palate. The interior of the restaurant is just as impressive as the food. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy charm. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the design, from the lighting to the seating arrangements, creating a warm and inviting space that enhances the overall dining experience. One of the true highlights of the evening was the cocktail selection—especially the Smoked Fig Old Fashioned, which is a house specialty. It's a clever and delicious twist on a classic, with a rich, smoky aroma and a smooth, fig-infused finish that sets it apart. It's the kind of drink you'll remember and want to come back for. Overall, Fig313 delivers on every level—delicious food, impeccable drinks, and a beautiful setting. Whether you're celebrating something special or just in the mood for a great meal and cocktail, this place is a must-visit.
The appetizer was good. However, the medium rare burger I ordered came out overcooked & dry as sandpaper. My date's chicken was also overcooked & super dry. It took an hour to get our plates of dry waste , so I inhaled it out of pure starvation rather than complain. I've been here before and it was great, but the Chef totally screwed this one. Cooking a piece of beef anything more than medium rare is a true sin. Who screws up a burger... Cmonnn Man !!!
High quality food, incredible service, a seasonal menu with staples that never disappoint...there is a reason Fig is our go-to restaurant for special occasions! In Andrew we trust when it comes to service and mixology. I wish everyone would learn from what Fig is doing and try to emulate...it would elevate South County fare substantially. Until then, I will continue to choose Fig every chance I can.
Lovely outdoor patio. Service was excellent. Great menu choices and cocktails. Food presentation was beautiful and food was good but for the price I felt it lacked a bit in flavor. We had the scallops and the short ribs. There were four medium to smallish size scallops which were good but not loaded with flavor and felt they were overwhelmed by the lentils they were sitting on top of. The plate was mostly filled with of lentils and carrots. The short ribs had a good flavor but didn't care much for the over creamed potatoes underneath. We enjoyed our time but for the hefty price point felt we could have had a better tasting meal elsewhere.
Fig313 - What a surprise! I was expecting a good meal, but found incredible food in a delightful setting - in the outside, heated garden listening to the trickling fountain. The wine-poached pear salad had so many different flavors; the boeuf Bourguignon with the Italian twist used filet mignon and sweet cipollini onions; the very large tender sea scallops were perfectly seared; and the roasted salmon came atop a variety of roasted vegetables. We were too full to try the moist fig cake. Next time we are in town, we'll definitely be coming here to explore what else the chef prepares so exquisitely.
Had a lovely date night at Fig 313. The ambiance was just what I was hoping for - charming and elegant. Service and food were top notch. We had the pear salad, filet mignon and lobster special and ended with bread pudding with Carmel ice cream. Everything was lovely and delightful.
Fig313 is a delightful gem that offers an exceptional dining experience at great prices. One of the highlights of this restaurant is its stunning garden setting, which provides a serene and beautiful atmosphere for guests. The lush greenery and well-maintained space create a relaxing ambiance perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the lovely surroundings, making it an excellent value for money. Whether you're enjoying a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion, Fig313 offers an inviting environment without breaking the bank. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming and affordable dining experience!
Absolutely loved my dinner at Fig @ 313. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was phenomenal — each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was attentive and made the experience even better. Can't wait to come back!
We had a pleasant experience at Fig 313, thanks to its cozy atmosphere. Parking is limited to street parking or the church lot behind the restaurant.
Service was a bit slow. Although we always make reservations and are seated quickly, for some reason, both times we visited, we had to wait quite a while before a server attended to us. This time, we had plans after dinner, so we had to ask for service before we were finally offered water and able to place our order. However, once the food arrived, the server checked on us regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, we would rate the service 3.5/5.
The food is quite good, and we particularly enjoyed the Brussels Sprouts, bone marrow, and toasted octopus. The salad was decent, but the salmon and pasta pomodoro were rather average.
On a Friday night, the restaurant wasn’t too crowded, allowing us to choose an outdoor seat by the fire pit, which was a nice touch. If the service speed improves, it would make the dining experience even better!

good service food it's so delicious 😋 atmosphere everything is incredible
This is a delightful eatery near the coast in San Clemente. We were seated outside by the fire pit making for a more romantic setting. We began with a vodka martini and a lychee libation for cocktails; delicious and potent 🙏. For appetizer, we had a quite unusual and yet delectable fig and olive tapenade served with fresh toast points. We followed with a poached (in red wine) pear salad served with greens, gorgonzola cheese and a superb beet cream. Almost full, but had to try the beef bourguignon and the chicken stuffed with parmesan risotto and assorted vegetables; creative takes on classics and new superb tastes. We were served by a wonderful server who was attentive and kind without being assertive. Thank you.

Food and atmosphere was INCREDIBLE. We ordered the octopus appetizer and the flavors were absolutely delicious, octopus was perfectly cooked and not rubbery. For our entrées, we had the wagyu steak special and the seafood pasta. The wagyu steak melted in your mouth and the seafood pasta had the perfect amount of sauce, delicious. We also ordered the Fig cocktail which again was perfect. Atmosphere was great with lights all around the patio, a fountain running, and some light music in the background. Our waiter was nice and service was ok, we did need to wait a bit to order our cocktail which is only reason for one less star on service. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and we will be going back!

If there’s one place in San Clemente that defines what it means to dine well, it’s Fig 313. My wife, my mother-in-law, and I have made several trips here, and each time we leave, we are reminded why this hidden gem is a staple in our lives. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience—a symphony of flavors that never fails to impress.
On our most recent visit, Fig 313 once again rolled out the red carpet for us. I had the pleasure of indulging in the pork shank—lovingly set aside for me by Andrew, who knew we were coming. And when I say set aside, I mean it was nothing short of a culinary treasure. The meat was fall-apart tender, with a depth of flavor that only comes from a chef who respects the craft. Every bite was an event. My wife chose the surf and turf, featuring perfectly seared shrimp and a steak that was melt-in-your-mouth divine. And as if the universe was aligned that night, my mother-in-law savored a filet mignon that was cooked to absolute perfection, tender with just the right hint of char.
The brilliance of the evening didn’t stop there. We began with an appetizer that, frankly, set the bar sky-high—the braised pork belly. It was an absolute standout: rich, savory, and perfectly balanced, with just enough crisp on the edges to contrast the melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. If there’s a dish that could represent Fig 313’s ethos, it’s this one—simple yet meticulously crafted.
And the cocktails—oh, the cocktails! If you think drinks are an afterthought here, think again. Fig 313 treats its cocktail menu like an extension of its culinary philosophy. I had the Flaming Pear, a spectacle in itself and a masterclass in balance—fruity but sophisticated, with just the right touch of flair. My wife had another creation, the name of which escapes me, but the level of her enthusiasm told me all I needed to know—it was, in her words, “outstanding.”
It’s not just the food and drinks that make Fig 313 special—it’s the entire experience. The service is impeccable without being overbearing. Andrew and the team make you feel like part of the family, remembering your preferences, anticipating your needs, and ensuring that each visit feels like a homecoming.
Whether it’s your first time or your fifth (like us), Fig 313 never misses a beat. The atmosphere is intimate yet lively, perfect for any occasion. If you’re looking for a restaurant where every detail—from the menu to the service—is executed with precision and passion, Fig 313 is where you need to be. It’s not just a meal; it’s a celebration of food, hospitality, and the art of dining.
