Updated 8.13.22. Since they stopped serving outside the quality seemed to decline. Drinks were bad and tamales are not the same at all. Not sure what is wrong with their margaritas but they taste like soap. See other reviews. Feel bad that the fire shut them down for a bit. Hopefully they get a fresh re-start.Old review. Great food! It's okay. Always crowded, so others clearly like it... but all of the food is very bland - not much flavor.Ranch Market (in the back of the grocery store next door) is WAY better (and cheaper).There's no way this is the best Mexican option in San Clemente.
This past july 4th week we ate here again and brought the fam; just saw the devastating news-- this place is a gem and I hope they are able to re-build, thoughts out to this fantastic restaurant.
