I don’t know why it took us so long to get here… it’s just 6 minutes away from our home.. nestled n “old town” you will find this hidden gem.. also, most likely the best homemade salsa you’ll ever taste in our beautiful hometown.Taco Tuesday did not disappoint. You need to get a drink to get the $3 tacos but oh so worth it. The lettuce .. so crunchy and fresh and the cheese that was used .. Mexican cheese.. my husband & I got 3 different tacos … the chicken was definitely my most favorite. We will give enchilada Thursday a try next. Another local patron highly recommended that. With our experience being really good I am bummed to see others didn’t have the same experience as we did.

Such a cute little spot. Bomb tacos. Best customer service. Sweet team members. Our new hotspot when visiting San Clemente, FOR SURE. CHRIS AND PERU ARE THE BEST. Thank you for your hospitality!Kid-friendliness: Both teenage kids loved it.

Nice atmosphere. Food quantity was good, quality was not to CA standard. Service was not great. Better options close by.

Three of us went here for a snack while spending the day shopping. The place was empty and when they seated us she put us way in the back corner but we asked if we could move and they ssaid that was fine. It was a little chilly inside maybe because there were ceiling fans on. Should have took this as time to leave. They brought chips and salsa right away and we all only wanted water to drink. We decided to order the trio of enchiladas to share and it said at the top that it came with rice, beans and a guacamole salad. We asked to get all beans no rice and he said it doesn't come with anything even though the menu said it did. He said he would find out. He did bring the food out with beans and when I asked where the guacamole was He said it doesn't come with it and to look at the picture and see that it doesn't and there's nothing he can do he's not the boss.At this time we notice that they are not cheese enchiladas like it says but chicken. When we tell him he says well that's better that what you ordered. I was flabbergasted at that comment. We just kept them and they were delicious but it was very awkward. When it came time to pay that was the most uncomfortable experience. They had that pay thing that you swipe your card at the table. He swiped the card then pointed to the tip spot and told my friend to pick which one she wants for the tip. I was shocked and said we will leave cash. I've never had anything like that happen.I included photos of the menu where it shows what's included with the dishes.

Hey - it's Old Town; not Del Mar! The burrito was huge and tasted great to me! My wife had the fish tacos and was very pleased with them. And! the price was right. We'll be back.

Very expensive for not good food. Go to any other Mexican restaurant. They waited until end of the meal to tell us that their card machine wasn't working and to use the ATM machine with a $4 fee. It looks like they have done this in the past and I guess it is some kind of racket. I don't believe all the 5 stars.

Went for Taco Tuesday and margaritas. Chips, salsa, and guacamole were great starters. Tacos came with one topping. Just meat and onions. Ordered toppings. They tasted great. Service was very friendly.

Hands down worst Mexican restaurant in San Clemente, yet still one of the most expensive. I have tried it a few times over the last decade. It’s keeps getting lower in quality and more expensive. Dry carne asada, spoiled tasting salsas. I suspect all these good reviews are paid for.

Hidden gem! We stopped at this place on the spot on our way to San Clemente beach and were blown away. Service was absolutely incredible, the server was the coolest guy ever who had great recommendations and fun activities and stickers for the kids. Really went out of his way to make our time fun. Food was absolutely delicious and portion sizes are big, we got the Baja enchiladas and they blew us away. The chips and salsa were also top tier! Would recommend to anyone
