Nick's San Clemente

Service is outstanding. Food selection is great for both lunch and dinner. Love the openness to outdoors.

The food and drinks were tasty. Our server was friendly and attentive. Plus, the birthday dessert was an extra plus!

We had a great experience at Nick‘s. Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The food was exceptional, and the ambience was wonderful since we were sat right by the window.

Our drink was seriously under poured (martini) we made polite mention and our waitress proceeded to take it to the bar where I saw them just tap off w syrup. I walked up and said... that's not ok, come on. And then the bartender made a new drink on the other end. I worked in the industry for years and this should not have been the case or first response to resolve. We love and frequent this restaurant often in both locations spontaneously and w reservations.

Wonderful location, everything we ordered was delicious ...great service by Travis who was attentive, warm & welcoming which made for a lovely experience!

It was wonderful. We were celebrating my sisters 10th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. Can't believe how great their ribs are. I'm from Iowa, but these were great

I had to delay my reservation and when I arrived out table was ready. Service was great along with the food. It was a first date and she was impressed

We made a last-minute stop at Nick's in San Clemente on the way back from San Diego to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I was excited to finally try their prime rib sandwich, but unfortunately, the very first impression set the wrong tone. The hostess at the front desk greeted us with what I can only describe as a very unfriendly attitude. Since the hostess is the first point of contact, that greeting really matters and in this case, it was disappointing, especially on a special occasion. Thankfully, our server, Michela, completely saved the experience. She was warm, attentive, and truly pleasant throughout the evening. The deviled eggs were also a standout so delicious and unique! The rest of the staff we interacted with were very nice as well. The only real negative was the greeting at the door, and I hope management can address this. A hostess, especially a young one, should be welcoming, upbeat, and smiling, as that sets the tone for the entire meal. Overall, the food and Michela's excellent service made the visit worthwhile, but Nick's could easily elevate the guest experience by making sure their front-of-house team starts things off on the right foot.

Went here with a friend for lunch on a Friday afternoon. I had the chicken sandwich which was fantastic, and my friend enjoyed her bistro salad with added chicken. We hadn't seen each other for a long time and wanted to have a pleasant lunch catching up on things. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a table of four guys who were loudly discussing business the entire time we were there. We couldn't get out of there fast enough after we had finished our meal!

The food was excellent and overall ambiance was enjoyable. I asked for my table to be moved and it was done with grace and no hesitation.

Nick's is consistently wonderful in all aspects except noise level. VERY loud. But I guess it's part of the atmosphere. A great spot for friends or families but no place for a quiet business meeting or romantic relaxing time.

Nick's in San Clemente is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is consistently delicious!n I love their Petite Bisto Salad with Chicken. It's on the menu as an appetizer but it is enough for a meal. My husband has to restrict his meat, so he always orders the Vegan Burger and is never disappointed. If you like to splurge with a dessert to die for, try their butter cake!!! I would highly recommend going to Nicks but make a reservation. We always ask to sit in the front area.

We were not disappointed ! We are regulars ! Food was as good as always! Our server was great! She was friendly, quick and gave great service ‼️

First time at Nick's. Seems like a local favorite hangout.
Had a good time. Would eat their again when we're back in San Clemente.

Great food especially Ribeye melt and great salads, great service, only criticism is the noise level makes it a little tricky to hear conversations
