Classic, old school, 40 years ago style fish taco. Large double tortillas, tasty creama- sauce, cabbage, pico de gallo(salsa), quite filling. Many other food items. Second favorite is the bean burrito w/Pico de gallo. Then carne asada burrito, breakfast burritos too. Supply you with plenty of packaged sauce. A value, nostagic, SC food place. Drawback, walk up, or drive through, minimal seating, no tables. Basically, take you food to go eat someplace else.

Still the same surf shack that I've enjoyed since I was a child. The food and service are excellent. Located in the heart of San Clemente CA so the atmosphere is second to none.
The only issue that I and most others who ate there 3+ decades ago have with Pedro's is that the prices have skyrocketed since those days. What was once ¢99 is now $7.00! A order that was once $10.00 is now $45.00/$50.00. Also the fact that it's credit card only may cause issues for those who are looking to eat using physical cash.

Place just keeps getting worse and worse . Just got a quesadilla with pretty much no cheese . Like how hard is it for these workers to do their job . It’s a quesadilla cheese is literally the main component of the meal . Y’all are a joke at this point

Ordered a bean and cheese burrito. They did not put cheese in it so just a mediocre bean burrito. Pretty small as well. We also ordered a California burrito. Also small. Cold inside. No flavor. No bueno. While washed Mexican food. Del taco is better

What happened Pedro? Your kids take over? I bet you're disappointed in them. They're ruining what you built. This place got awful, since the last time I was here. The burrito was tiny and expensive. The carne asada was more like shredded beef. The jalapeno hot sauce is still good, but they used to fill the bag, so I would have some all week. Two tiny packets this time. They used to hire front of house staff with a desire for service. This kid seemed annoyed to be bothered. They stopped taking cash. No bathroom to wash hands. Won't be back. I'd rather be somewhere that they want business.

The tacos were a let down. The carne asada meat was so mediocre: the texture was like ground beef and the seasoning didn’t even taste like carne asada. The proportions were so off with way too much meat to guac and pico. It was all one giant slop. The add on sauces were just packets of heinz hot sauces. I expected so much more for a So-Cal taco spot.
Taco Tuesday tacos are sooo oily and i couldn’t tell if i was eating any meat? Or potatoes? Or whatever that was. I recommend to take your money elsewhere. I would literally prefer a Del Taco meal over this place any day. Also, There’s no place to sit.

Excellent breakfast burrito spot close to San Clemente Beach. There’s one bench in front of the order counter but no other tables or chairs to sit and dine. Looks like a to go place.
Breakfast burrito with steak, egg, and cheese (with no beans) was $14.20. House made salsa was on point.
Highly recommend.
