Our first breakfast here we decided to try The Bagel Shack which was pretty close to where we were staying. I love a good bagel sandwich & this place did not disappoint! I order a multigrain bagel with egg, cheese, & avocado. I loved it! The eggs were cooked to perfection & there was a good amount of avocado added onto this sandwich. My boyfriend ordered the Lowers with bacon which is egg, cheese, & bacon. I had the best vanilla chai I’ve ever had here! It was amazing & I will most definitely be craving it for a while. Parking was easy. There were plenty of bagel options. Staff was great!

I didn’t fully understand the process but I guess you get a bagel and then they toast it for you I was kinda confused. But I wasn’t too impressed with the bagel they were pretty hard to me. Also purchased a bagel sandwich wasn’t bad just average. When we were rung up the cashier rounded up our purchase? Not sure what that was about tip maybe nothing was said never experienced something like that before.

Good service. Bagels are fresh but not a style I prefer. Solid coffee, unlike a lot of places where coffee seems to be whatever is cheapest. Good quality in lox. Good place with a wide variety of bagel flavors.

The bagels/breakfast sandwich are ENORMOUS. I got the lox on the jalapeño bagel which is big enough to share (but i didn't haha)! You can also buy tubs of cream cheese and a variety of bagels by themselves for home. Highly recommend.

IMHO - maybe a tad overpriced. $4.00 for one egg as a side. SHEESH! Nonetheless - fed 4 people for about $80 which works out to approx $20 per person. I don't know if that's a lot for this pretty rough inflation environment, or if the prices are slightly marked up because of the area (San Clemente).
People were friendly, the bagels were excellent, but the $4.00 each eggs were just kind of mid. Would come again - but just with slightly adjusted expectations :)
Parking: Delicious menu options at reasonable prices. Service is great and the is prepared quickly. Great coffees to sit on the deck and enjoy.

Watch the dude with the mustache when he checks you out. He takes control of the payment screen and automatically adds a tip on every single charge even if you don't want to. I've been overcharged so many times. Will NEVER come back to this place again. Always check the charges on your card compared to what he tells you in the store. Place is way over hyped.
