Paranoid and rude...not sensitive with customers with special needs the manager and supervisor on 12/11/23 @11am. Requested a larger table after explaining that my guest had an oxygen machine with her and needed to place it on a chair not on the floor due to dust and people passing by that could trip. They refused and called the manager. He said no and became angry when I said there were many large tables and not very busy. They replied, "So if it gets busy you will move? I said forget it. The four of us were placed on a small table and my guest had to place her tank on the dirty floor. Not one of the large tables of about 15 were used. Sick and sad people. Never go back there again! 2nd incident, 4 months ago. after eating I went to the restroom before leaving. My niece and nephew headed for the door and the cashier cornered them and said, "YOU NO PAY, STOP! " It was the most embarrassing situation being accused of trying to leave without paying. They wouldn't listen to them when they told them that their uncle was paying. My niece and nephew are adults, not kids. ADA should investigate this restaurant for being rude and insensitive to people with disability.

My family and I went for a birthday celebration. They offer half off for the birthday person, which is nice. However in my opinion this buffet was still quite costly for the value of the food. The stir fry was the best thing there. The salmon was also decent. Everything else in my opinion was not good . The sushi was a largely rice and cucumbers with very little fish and not high quality tasting. The orange chicken and other Chinese foods were greasy and soggy. In terms of cleanliness, a few things stood out to me. There were stacks of plates, face up , out in the open n the middle of the aisle on a rounder where pretty much everyone passes by. Im sure as people are chatting &passing by , their saliva and whatever else is getting on the "clean" plates. There was also the scoop your own ice-cream station . There were lots of kids there who were running back &forth serving themselves &lots of people in general hovering over the ice cream options and I didn't feel that was very sanitary. The salad dressing had a similar set up.I know the cost of food has gone up for everyone including restaurant owners these days. But if I'm going to spend $23 a person I would rather choose a place that serves an entree/sides with high quality craveable offerings over a buffet with a lot of sub par options. To me, 23$ pp is too much money to spend for less than mediocre food.I feel bad writing this, as I'm sure whoever owns it needs to make a living too . But I have to be honest also so others reading know what to expect. If you HAVE to have a buffet and you have a family with big eaters & this place gives you the most bang for the buck , then go for it . Otherwise I'd think twice.

I ate here with two guy friends of mine. The waitress would hover over us; making us rush our food. We couldn't really talk as she would come over or stand over us. We literally kept having to eat fast because she would be watching us, as well as snatching our plates as fast as she possibly could. Not only that, the sushi tasted weird, fuckin children were coming up to our table wanting OUR FOOODThe children were just horrible. They smelled badly, and would keep sneezing. Nasty.

We've gone here a couple of times and had a great experience. Most of the food selection is a traditional Asian seafood variety, but they have some "American" style dishes. It is located in a shopping center in PB off of Grand Avenue. The host will seat you right away and waitstaff will take your drink order. Because I have mobility issues, the host was very sensitive to my needs and located our table near the center of the food. We went on a Thursday evening and the resturant was moderately busy. The young lady who waited on us was quick to remove the plates and refill our drinks. The decor is pleasant and the tables are very clean. The staff is very quick in clearing off the table when customers are finished with their plates or leave. I noticed the food handlers are observant to keep the buffet selection full and kept tidy. Sushi and sashimi selection was nice. A food handler is nearby by making it fresh when the selection gets low. I do wish that the ginger was natural and NOT the pink dyed stuff, but other than that, I have no complaints. There is a nice selection of asian style appetizers. I wish the egg roles had not been previously frozen. I did not see the yellow hot mustard nearby. That is what I like to dip my egg rolls in instead of the sweet & sour sauce. There is a salad bar to choose from and a nice selection of cold seafood to choose from. I found the clams to have had some heat to them that I enjoyed. There is a nice variety of main dishes. I enjoyed the Cajun style shrimp and Crawfish boil. There is a fried chicken offering, although I did not have any. I enjoyed the other asian style dishes they offered. There is a Mongolian Barbecue grill with a nice selection but only one choice of flavor enhancers. I have not tried it yet, but my husband did and he enjoyed it. I think if I tried it, I will have to get creative and add some ginger and squeeze some lemon juice over it from the appetizers and sushi locations. I found the dessert selection is adequate. They had four flavors of ice cream with an assortment of sprinkles and toppings. There is a chocolate fountain but only marshmallow a to use. The only fruits were melons, grapes and pineapple. A sign was placed on the fountain protective screen to not dip watermelon. I settled with some fresh fruit, cream puffs and flan. I found the small cakes selection disappointing. I did not enjoy the tastes, for the flavor selection was poor. My husband had ice cream. I noticed that was very popular among other Resturant's goers. The bathrooms were very clean and kept up. No complaints. We will be returning again soon!

Tuesday is very crowded. A lot of seafood is offered. It typical flavor of an Asian buffet nothing special. No Salmon sushi is available. Reasonable price. The restaurant is very clean and the stuff are friendly.

My friends and I walked in and were immediately seated and wasted no time at all to get to plating ourselves some delicious and incredible food. They have fresh crab legs Friday and Saturday nights. Nice and spacious area with plenty of seating, and they even have catchy music in the establishment !! If you definitely love buffet style service and ALL YOU CAN EAT... come on over to The Great Plaza Buffet! Been coming here since I was in highschool over a decade ago!!!

I've been a patron of this establishment for a few years now, and it's disheartening to witness its decline over time. I still recall the early days when I first heard about this place and finally decided to give it a shot. The food back then was truly impressive.Unfortunately, the menu has seen changes, and not necessarily for the better. I remember they used to offer fried calamari, but that's no longer the case. While the current food offerings are decent, they just don't hold up to the memory of the outstanding meals I had before. One aspect that has bothered me is the fried rice, which now includes sizable slices of onions. Personally, I find this to be a detraction. On a positive note, I recommend trying their fried donuts; they're quite good, especially when paired with a serving of soft serve ice cream. If you happen to be in the vicinity, it might still be worth giving this place a shot, especially for the sake of nostalgia or the chance to experience it for yourself.

I won't get fooled again! The website makes this place seem somewhat appealing. Once you walk in you are immediately transported back to the early 1990s. We sat in a booth near the wall that was decorated with black and white circles. They all should be black as the white circles revealed who knows how many years worth or grease, yellow grime, and food. Expect to see your server one time. Good luck getting a refill of any beverages. Service was poor at best. Take my advice and avoid any and all sushi or seafood. The only food I felt comfortable consuming was the stir fry station where you can have raw chicken, steak, pork chop, and shrimp grilled. The deserts look nice but there is nothing moist about anything baked. The chocolate fountain is fun for kids and you can cover marshmallows in chocolate. For four of use it was 140.00 all in. The worst thing about the bill was the fact that my family hardly felt safe eating anything. As soon as we left the place, they went and got pizza.

Food was ok however service at its worst. Expect annoyed faces from the staff if you ask for something.

The food here was alright, nothing much stood out to me. The best thing here is the noodles that you can get cooked to order. As somebody with a nut allergy, the ice cream station worried me. I saw that there was a pistachio ice cream. The fact that you scoop your own ice cream with the same utensil is not good because there was cross contamination between the ice cream. Besides that, the service was pretty good. Our drinks got refilled when we were grabbing our food and our dirty plates were taken away.

There's not a great amount of variety but I did like the mussels and the Mongolian section. The Mongolian was amazing and it isn't bad for the price of a buffet. The service was great with refilling our drinks and clearing the table. It is very nice inside and they have a crane game in the front.

Came here for my dad's birthday, they offer good deals. They offered senior discount for my mom and then free birthday buffet for my dad. Food was okay, the crawfish tasted frozen and the salmon was too salty.

The floors are sticky and so are the tables. The food is not fresh and the quality is terrible, especially for the price. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place.

An Asian buffet with Chinese, Japanese and American dishes along with a good dessert and fruit bar. Lots of seating, lots of selections, good service. Bottomline, this a typical buffet which means food aplenty, a variety of flavors and well stocked. I prefer the hot Chinese dishes over the Japanese sushi (which is mediocre at best but the sashimi is good). The price is right and my college son got his fill and was satisfied.
