Absolutely recommend 7 Cafe San Diego! One of the best breakfast venues I have rated! Grandson loved the pancakes (Grandma and Grandpa agreed). My smoked salmon plate came with fresh avocado, capers, tomatoes, eggs and fresh fruit. Great selection of bagels. Grandpa enjoyed his Big Breakfast which included eggs, tater tots, sausage and grilled sourdough toast. Fresh brewed coffee.
When we’re back in San Diego this is a must stop. Service is personal and excellent. Atmosphere is uplifting - sat by the front window,

We couldn’t wait to return to 7 Cafe after being away for more than 2 years. Our nephew used to live around the corner and we could come the 7 Cafe every morning when we visited him. He had since moved away but we had a chance to return to the old neighborhood on our resent visit to San Diego. The first place we decided to eat was the 7 Cafe. The owner, wait staff and food are all outstanding.We’re from NYC and we highly recommend that you make the 7 a stop one of your dining experiences while in San Diego.

Wait 45 minutes for two pancakes and a hot chocolate I was the only person at the restaurant ? also the male cashier gave me a coffee first instead of a hot chocolate then tried to argue me down that it’s hot chocolate but it was instead coffee I been drinking coffee since I been 3 years old I know what it tastes like the young lady took it back and brought me back hot chocolate

Seriously some of the best food around San Diego. The prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of food you get. Also get the pancakes. You won't be disappointed. Some of the best I've ever had.
If U like a delicious homemade pancake, this is the place to go. Good coffee too and friendly service.

7 Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat in downtown San Diego. Their sandwiches have the best bread, and the pesto pasta side is incredible. My favorite sandwich is the Dank, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Parking: Since the restaurant is Downtown, the parking is either paid parking meter or a paid lot.
