OMG!!!! Ridiculous!!! You won't believe how good the pizza is. AND, for what I paid, makes me feel like I didn't pay enough. Most tips won't do the place any justice. MARVELOUS ABSOLUTELY!

Never judge a book by its cover they say. Meat lover's pizza was absolutely delicious. Me and my date ate the whole thing! No regrets. Classic pizza.

Brooklyn Pizzeria is located on the corner of 4th and C Street in downtown San Diego. They have a good selection of pizza by the slice at lunchtime and a cool brick oven to cook their pies in. Service was friendly and they seem to do a good bit of business at this location. They have a few tables inside for dining as well as some window bar type seating by each window. The pizza as definitely solid and had a good flavor. The only thing I didn’t like so much was all the homeless people hanging around. It definitely takes away from the vibe of a good meal. All in all, thumbs up for food and service and thumbs down for atmosphere. Probably a better place to get take out from.

I watched the guy behind the counter pick his nose and continue making pizzas.... Swear to god (this was after I received and ate half of my piece of pizza or else I would have definitely left then!)

I have lived downtown for 7 years and did not know about this place until I got a surprise bag from too good to go. Yum! The pizza was fresh and tasty, but the garlic knots were my favorite. I will definitely be back to load up on these. Customer service was great, too.

I'm so lucky to work next door to this jem. The guy working is always friendly and serves up some of the best pizza around. The crust is perfection! The sauce is delish!

I came here the other day and I was shocked. The food was AMAZING!!! I have a lot of pizza my whole life and this experience really left a mark. My dad used to own a pizzeria and I know good pizza. This was very authentic, first when I walked in, the service was very nice. They treated me like family and I really appreciated that. I don't know why this restaurant has the rating it has now. I just want to say thanks to the service and the chef. This really was an amazing experience.

I walked in about half an hour before closing after a long day. The blond man working was super kind, chill, and got me some great pizza in an instant. The kindness was exactly what I needed — thank you for having such an inviting atmosphere and welcoming staff!

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the dough on my slices was raw or undercooked in a few spots making for a chewy slice. The staff was friendly and the variety looked great. However, it will be some time before I give this place another chance due to the abundance of food options downtown.

I'm on a quest to find the perfect "slice" in San Diego. This was good but not great. A little greasy and the crust was a less than perfect, however, the other toppings were very good. Sadly, this location can be difficult to get to, parking is impossible and walking into the restaurant may expose one to some "downtown SD" odors, something Brooklyn Pizzeria has NO control over.
