Great beer! It would be easy to stop there, but this place is great. The beers are truly excellent. I had to meet the head brewer, Bill, and he added another element to our visit. A definite must-drink spot in San Diego!
In a city full of breweries this place still stood out. The staff was fantastic, the food was good, and the beer was great. It's small enough that you can kind of miss it if you're walking past but I would say do yourself a favor and head on in. Excellent selection of beers and just an overall positive vibe, which is a little hard to put into words but you get the idea. This appears to be a shared venue. Front of the house is The Local, eatery and drinking hole. The Brewery is in the back half. We didn't eat but the beers we had were very good. They had upside down christmas trees hanging from the ceiling.
