This appears to be a shared venue. Front of the house is The Local, eatery and drinking hole. The Brewery is in the back half. We didn't eat but the beers we had were very good. They had upside down christmas trees hanging from the ceiling.

3.5 stars...Sunday Funday! Finished brunch on the harbor and decided to hit up a local brew pub, and this joint has been on my list for a bit!When entering there was a profound "dirty drain" smell that persisted through our visit. We approached the bar and found seats immediately...it was an NFL Sunday so the games were on the screens and the audio was quite loud, but created an exciting atmosphere. Bartender was tied up but came to us when he was free.I started with a flight, and rarely do I pick 4 winners, but liked all of them...even had an additional pint! My bride doesn't care for most beers, so she opted for the watermelon seltzer, a beautiful hued red drink that smelled of jalapeños, and was very tasty.Ambiance is industrial beer hall, service was friendly but distracted, and prices were in line with the area.The beers were great, the smells and service took a star away, but I'll give it another shot...I think this one might be tops some day!

Great beer! It would be easy to stop there, but this place is great. The beers are truly excellent. I had to meet the head brewer, Bill, and he added another element to our visit. A definite must-drink spot in San Diego!

Great spot to grab a cold beer and some food. The food is priced well and it is good. This is not far outside the Gaslamp and a way cooler vibe. Very local spot. Enjoy!!!!

In a city full of breweries this place still stood out. The staff was fantastic, the food was good, and the beer was great. It's small enough that you can kind of miss it if you're walking past but I would say do yourself a favor and head on in. Excellent selection of beers and just an overall positive vibe, which is a little hard to put into words but you get the idea. Prices were good as well and the happy hour selection has a little bit of everything. A fun little place to go in Downtown San Diego, and I will definitely be back.

German chocolate stout and espinosa reposado were good. Around 6-7pm gets extremely crowded.
An amazing selection of craft beers, couple with great service and an awesome menu. I irde re the wet burrito and wow! It was huge and really good. Our server Madeline was super chill and fun too

came in on a recent trip into town, and I think it was the same day as a early baseball game. Service was pretty slow, so keep that in mind. I think the waitress easily went by maybe three times before finally getting my order.I only came in for beer, so just know that my review will only focus on the beer itself. They have a great bar from the looks of it with tons of options including liquor for those of you that are not beer snobs like me. The chasing Citra beer was pretty good but not a top 100 fave. honestly, this place is getting four stars alone for the location. It was super walkable from my hotel and most locations downtown. Other than that it's probably a 3 to 3 1/2 star place
