Slowest restaurant you ever seen, I came back to give another 1 point but unfortunately I cant, this is the worst restaurant I have ever seen in my life, staff absolutely don’t have any work ethic or manner. There couldn’t be a worse

This was my first visit here. I give this place a 3.5. I love African food and try to get some wherever I can find a restaurant. I tried the vegetable soup with goat for the first time. It did have a fish taste to it even though it was goat It was flavorful. I also the jollof rice with goat. This was my favorite. I've had jollof a few times before and this was the best I've had. I also had the pepper soup with fish. I love pepper soup and I get it every time I can. It was packed with flavor as most pepper soup usually is. I like spicy food but this was actually a bit too spicy for me, but it was still good so I ate it. The biggest negative was the fish having so many bones in it. Its almost too difficult to eat because your constantly spitting out bone and whole bay leaves and other seasonings that they didn't bother to take out. Not my favorite African restaurant in the area

This people never answer their phone and the store hours posted online is misleading. They're never there when it says OPEN.

I stopped into the market today in search of ingredients for Jollof Rice and Egusi Stew. This will be my first time to cook these dishes and the gentleman in the store kindly helped me to select the right ingredients. When he learned that I had not tried Jollof Rice and Egusi Stew before, he went back into the restaurant's kitchen and brought out samples of both so that I could experience the flavors. I very much appreciate his helpful suggestions and words of encouragement. I am happy to support this local market and, based on the delicious samples from the restaurant, I recommend their cafe as well.

Goat meat is overpriced, though other than that, it's always a pleasure.11/21/23: Took one star off. Service is dwindling because they're torn in between an African grocery store or a restaurant. Very mind-boggling ?

Delicious! Tried the fish, goat and chicken all very flavorful. I can't wait to go back for more jollof. Each time excellent both at the store and at a festival. DJs on Friday night was loads of fun.

The place is a market like it says in the name and they have a few little tables with chairs to eat. The music was up beat. Nice little place and def recommend. The food was more than I expected taste wise. I got the okra and chicken with red sauce and fufu. Soooooo delicious. I also bought some items off the shelf, snacks for the road and some fufu to make at home. The lady that greeted us was so nice, idk how to spell her name but it's Sunai I believe like sun night. She helped me to order since I'd never eaten there before.

Hello fellow Yelpers! It's been awhile but I have a place that you may like to try if you're ever in the San Diego area. Abule! It's a small market and eatery that has a humble menu of West African dishes for you to try! The food was very flavorful and had a friendly spice level. I ordered the jollof rice with chicken and plantain. Again, very flavorful and the spice level was mild (I was hoping for a bit more spice but that's just me). The service was awesome, the gentleman that helped me was patient and helped me with food choice recommendations. The ambience was nice, very laid back. They had some of my fave afrobeats playing so I was a happy camper. The setting is simple and clean. Check them out guys! They've been open for about 2 years and hopefully many more to come. Thanks for having me Abule!

Hands down the worst african food I've tasted. Bad representation of Nigeria. Food is old and not fresh. Ordered mixed meat a couple of times but one time it came dry and old with no stew. The employee argued with me that the mixed meat never have stew and suggested I caught them on a generous day where they just gave me some. A lie if you look at their website the picture of the mixed meat has stew. This is not a place with quality african food
