I’m extremely disappointed with the service at this taco shop. As someone who works out every day and watches what I eat, I came in after a long shift and ordered a carne asada burrito. I was hoping for a good meal, but what I got was half a burrito stuffed mostly with fries and barely any meat. That’s not what I asked for.
When I brought it back and explained the issue to the girl at the counter, she immediately asked for my receipt in front of other customers, as if I was lying. That alone was embarrassing. I calmly told her I’d just buy another one no problem but the energy felt off. It felt intentional, like she didn’t care.
The second time I came in, I was talking with another customer about God, life, and relationships normal conversation between two grown men. Then a light-skinned, chubby girl working there asked if we were gay, completely out of nowhere. Extremely unprofessional. Even though I’m not gay, I found that question offensive and inappropriate. It shows a total lack of respect and understanding of basic professionalism. And if I were gay, that would have been straight-up discrimination.
On top of that, they constantly speak Spanish and laugh while looking at customers. It feels disrespectful, especially when customers are the ones financially supporting their business.
If you value respect, professionalism, and good service, take your money somewhere else. The vibe here is just wrong and energy never lies.

Been going here my whole life. Always served quick and the quality has never dropped. Ive noticed plenty other taco shops have dropped over the years with dryer meat and watered down horchata. But this remians the best around.

You cannot trust the menu and the charges will almost always be higher, the food is decent but they over charge… it’s sad I want to support small businesses but this one literally lies and cheats you..

Me st of the time food is good but today rolled tacos were a big disappointment cold soggy like they had been sitting all day or the person who ordered them didn't pick them up. No wonder the guy didn't try to charge me but I didn't want to be dishonest and walk away with out paying. Rolled tacos were awful

There are lots of late night taco shops throughout San Diego. All have the exact same menu and similar prices. I've been living here for over 25 years, I've been to many of these...zero ambience, friendly enough service...but what makes this standout is the HUGE portions! After a few drinks, my go to is a California Burrito...the burritos here are about 25% larger than the average San Diego taco shop. Same pricing too!
I LOVE AIBERTOS! They used to be on University Ave much closer to Park Blvd. Now they've relocated to around 46th Street? - so stayed close to me since I moved out there some years ago. ?
Everything is always on point at this place I love these Mexicans! And literally the cheapest prices in town, where else can you get two chili relleno meal for less than $10 come on ... No brainier and their rice & enchilada sauce are hella fire, I have to make everything wet at this place....

I been coming here for years and this is how u guys pay me i pay good money everytime looks like they spit it or something ewww ya need to do better come on now u can anything u put ur minds to ok today I'm getting pizza from lil Cesars hopefully u guys can do better for me next time i been coming here for days it breaks my heart and my pineapple drink never got it pa come on u guys treat everyone with the same respect
