I've been there twice, and the waitresses have a bit of an attitude.

Update seen after 2nd paragraph! (S/p dine-in):
Yummy! The "pink" hummus was one of the best hummus', if not the best I have ever had; the consistency was decadent. The 2 chicken kebobs were juicy. I wish their Babaganoush was dairy free! I would love to try other items on their menu.
I picked my order up to-go, but next time I might dine-in as the restaurant breathed a low-key comfortability. I am thankful for the lovely gentleman who helped me via an outgoing call made to them after placing my order online. Despite their phone prompt system, it would have been easier if I had called before ordering, but even so he was so considerate in his willingness to notice a possible inconsistency within my order.
S/p **dine-in experience*:
Wow! Amazing! So, the server was awesome- he was SOOOO sweet, going above and beyond to cut off the bread that covered the Turkish Lamb Veggie Tajine which he couldn't have explained more efficiently. Honestly, the only server that made 3 options for a foodie the easiest ever lmao 🤣😂😂. I had requested gluten free, hence him cutting it off. It wasn't their fault; I just requested it too late etc.
I also got the Beef Sherwarma Bites which are surprisingly gluten and dairy free! Anyways, just so so nice. But, about the dish- delicioussssssssss
Very nice hostess as well!

We came early before the rush. We've known the waiter 8 plus years and so had a continuing conversation that added a next level enjoyment to the meal in catching up.
Parking: Parking was good because we came in for our meal about 3:30pm.

Food is good but place is extremely expensive and they charge you a rising cost surchage. Even charge for tahini sauce. I understand everyone has costs and my family owns restaurant as well but this is just predatory behavior.

If you’re craving fresh Mediterranean flavors, this spot is a must-visit! Their salads are crisp, vibrant, and packed with flavor, while the shawarma is perfectly seasoned and juicy. The ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and the portions are generous. A great choice for a healthy yet satisfying meal!

I cannot gate keep this restaurant anymore. Aladdin is my most favourite restaurant in all of the San Diego. I am a frequent visitor of this establishment and yet to be disappointed. For the first time visitors, always order their platter if you wish to explore multiple options and are in a group setting. Their chicken tikka kebab is a mandatory meal on our table. Their oven roasted pizzas deserve a special mention as well. Aladdin visit is incomplete without a kanefa or a pistachio baklava. Whatever dessert you order, make sure you finish it with their coffee. It is a perfect way to end such a delicious meal. Couple of things to keep in mind when visiting are 1. Visit only when you have ample amount of time to wait for seating (it gets super busy on the weekends) and savour the food. Their food needs to be enjoyed and explored, so take your time. 2. Parking is a headache. It has very limited spots. You might need to find a street parking farther away. 3. Basic fundamentals of all types of meals remain the same, hence you get an opportunity to explore your preference of meat/no-meat. Make sure to ask your server in details to avoid misunderstanding in ordering. 4. Their salads are pretty simple, yet very delicious and underrated. Take your pick and dine away. 5. Give their Boraks a shot, it will be worth it.

Parking: Go off peak to find better parking options. Parking lot is small and limited.
OMG STOP WITH THE AWFUL COMMERCIALS ON TV. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard. I can't have the TV on in the background during the day anymore. I'll take this review down when it stops.
