Coming all the way from 🇨🇦 Toronto. Totally worth it. Wonderful experience with genuine authentic Lebanese cuisine. I enjoyed food and friendly chatting with Staff. Best food like you eat at home.

When you walk in the door you know you are home. The owner often greets customers by name and with a big hug. This family run business has the best Lebanese food in the city! The okra is to die for and the flatbreads are incrdible! We can’t stop coming here.

Best Lebanese food in the state! We always love our experience at Alforon. No matter how long it has been since we have gone, we are always greeted like family. It is like coming home! The food is always exceptional, fresh, highest quality and utterly divine. The menu is expansive, creative, contemporary, and traditional, with exciting vegetarian and vegan options. Alforon is one of San Diego's shining jewels, and should never be missed. Cannot recommend highly enough!

My fiancé and I enjoyed a meal here today, the woman at the front of house(samira?) made the experience better for us, she was AMAZING! My fiancé ordered the beef kebab and I had the kousa and malfouf mih shi, both were absolutely phenomenal! We will definitely be back and recommending the restaurant to family and friends. It’s a hole in the wall, but it’s a gem!

Simply amazing. Homey feel, excellent service and even better food. The owners (who were also our waiters and chef) are wonderful. Top ten lamb of my life, and I've had a lot of lamb in my time. Tender and juicy, boneless and fat trimmed with flavorful rice. The flatbreads are baked in a big oven and have the perfect balance of tenderness and crunch. Easily the best yogurt drink/kefir I've ever had. We over ate so we skipped dessert but it looked incredible and we can't wait to go back and try it!

I could start by saying the food is amazing, fresh mint lemonade is like a sip of life and the love dessert is like a passionate kiss in every bite. The whole point is, the food is made with LOVE, the Chef serves the food like if you were his children, The Lady receives you like if you were family. Take your time and enjoy every moment.

A very nice, family owned restaurant. I did not take any pictures, but we enjoyed the delicious Garlic Cream (Toum) w bread as an appetizer, a very tasty Lemon Lentil Soup, a great house salad which tasty house dressing & a flatbread served w Salmon & lemon. We will definitely return as it was a great find!

All appetizers were delicious and fresh. entrees like the kufta kebab and beef shawerma were not bad. Too much seasoning and dry kufta. When there is too much seasoning it is usually an indication of bad meat quality.
Chef stopped and asked us about the food we told him the truth and he went silent, turned around and left without saying a word!
