We love this cafe!!
We always make a point to go when we are in San Diego for over 16 years now.
Sadly something happened to the cinnamon rolls. My husband always gets the cinnamon roll French toast and if we don't order rolls for the table, and make a point to take some home. They were always incredibly good, delicious and fresh but I don't know if the recipe changed, but they were not that good.
Hopefully next time we visit, they will be.

The service is consistently friendly, competent, and polite, with staff described as great, nice, and welcoming. The family-friendly environment includes a kids' menu and separate sides. While parking may pose a challenge, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible and very clean. Customers have praised the vegetarian omelet, the Fit breakfast, and the croissant breakfast sandwich with hashbrowns and grits. The restaurant also serves delicious, basic drop biscuits, cinnamon rolls, and biscuits. The portions are huge, and the overall dining experience is described as affordable, enjoyable, and a gem. The owner provides great service.
