We always try to eat at Asti when we attend anything downtown. They are still doing a fantastic job. Food is amazing and service is great! Large selection with vegetarian and gluten free. Absolutely recommend for dining downtown.

Not the best. I had the vodka sauce with shrimp and crab meat. The sauce was not that flavorful- I've def had better. The shrimp were big and good. But the crab was harder to find in the dish. My friend had chicken parm. The chicken wasn't breaded, which was a disappointment. The tiramisu was the star of the meal- but the slice was on the smaller side. Overall, this meal was more expensive than other Italian restaurants nearby, and the food wasn't worth the extra cost.

This is a very cute Italian restaurant in downtown San Diego! The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious! I loved that they had menu options for mocktails and seemed to have a variety of options on the dinner menu. I would definitely go back!
This is our favorite restaurant in SD. We've been here many times and never had a bad meal. The food is great and the service is next level. We have a ton of food allergies in our friend group and they've alway been able to accommodate us. No dried out steak or plain chicken breast here. It's good food, cooked perfectly, and carefully every time. Best restaurant in the gaslamp by a mile.
