Small Vietnamese restaurant where fried tofu stands out.
The decor is clean. The service is courteous and fast. And the food is good. Our favorite is their fried tofu, whether it’s in rice noodles, bahn mi, or other dishes.

The Thai tea was delicious 🧋 and the bánh mì was good — I would’ve loved a bit more of the mayo spread but it still hit the spot 😋. And the restaurant smelled good!
The place was perfect to sit, relax, and enjoy a meal 🪑🍽️. Friendly service, great prices 💰, and a welcoming vibe. I also ordered the coconut cake 🥥🍰 (haven’t tried it yet, but it looked amazing!).

We came for lunch. We ordered banh mi (Hoi An special, grilled beef, grilled chicken), and Vietnamese iced coffee. We really liked the beef and chicken. We can't wait to come back and try more!

The restaurant was not busy during my visit here, and waited over 25 mins for an order of two sandwiches. Staff kept ignoring us. The sandwiches were subpar. We have definitely had better.
Wouldn't come again.

The food is so good, and I love the tofu spring rolls . The peanut sauce is amazing, and creamy. Everything is so fresh, and the flavors go perfectly together. It's an amazing restaurant, and I would definitely give it a try.

This place is legit. It'll easily be my go to pho place if it's near my home in the Bay area.
Grilled pork rice vermicelli (dry) - The portion for the grilled pork was generous. Very nicely grilled and charred. One thing is the pork was marinated with lemongrass and I'm not crazy about lemongrass. Nonetheless, it was well marinated and tasty. The pickled Daikin and carrots were well done as well. Very flavorful. The fish sauce also done well. I prefer not concentrated personally.
Filet Mignon pho - The soup was good. The meat is legit. Very tender. The pho noodle was done perfectly. Not too long so it's not soggy.
Vietnamese ice coffee - despite it's premade, flavor is good. Not too sweet which was perfect for me.
Awesome food drinks and service! Little hidden gem that can go overlooked but it’s a cozy little spot and fun to go to Bookstar after dinner. The ‘shaking beef’ aka Vietnamese fajitas (no tortillas but little cubes of filet mignon on a sizzling plate) is so bomb!

Love this place. Great food. Was here 4 years ago and it’s always been good. The phở is pretty great.

Mediocre sandwiches at best. We had the Hoi An special and grilled beef. The grilled beef banh mi was made from shredded bits of beef. The Hoi An special was good. However, the bread was too hard for the roof of my mouth. I recommend going to A Chau instead.

Reasonable prices. Watch for hidden charges on checkout with the way their payments are set up if you're from out of country

Flavorful sandwich—solid 8/10—and the egg rolls didn’t disappoint at 7/10. Pro tip: grab takeout, pair it with a Latitude 33 Blood Orange IPA, and boom, your day is instantly better. Thank me later!

It has a nice atmosphere.
I didn't really like the dish I ordered, should have tried something else.
Unfortunately the bathroom is really awful.
