Excellent variety of food! Everything was excellent but you should definitely try the poke bowl! Super filling and refreshing with just a slight kick. The kids loved watching the rays, fish and lobster swim under the water fall and bridge!

Go have lunch here if you are in San Diego. Period. My BLTA - avocado is the a - so good! The sweet potato fires - I think the best I ever had. The views are lovely. Very relaxing! My friend had the wings and they looked really good also. I can’t wait to go back to this place! I will get the nachos - someone at another table had it - looked amazing.

The bar tender is extremely rude. I understand that she is an unhappy person, but she over charged us by 300.00. Just because she made bad decisions and stuck pins in her face does not mean we have to take the abuse she dishes out. Stay away from the bar at Barefoot, this bartender is out to get you. I recommend going to Bahia for a better experience.

Went to this place by fluke because the restaurant next door wouldn't take a walk in without reservations and I had a flight to catch in 2 hours. The bar is right on the beach with live music. You can see the fish swimming in the pool next to the beach! Food was ok, better than most bar food but not the restaurant level quality I would expect for the price--to be fair I was in a hurry and only ordered one entree so maybe their other dishes were better. I got the poke bowl, the pickled ginger is fresh unlike the pink colored stuff some sushi restaurants serve, but the rice seemed under cooked and hard. Bartender was very friendly and I only waited a few minutes to get served. I would go back again as a cool bar atmosphere to catch up with friends or for a date (you can see the sunset!) but wouldn't make it a destination purely for the food.

This place is fantastic great staff so kind and friendly. Super dog friendly they bring you a water bowl without even asking. I got my girls a nonseason chicken breast, I got a bloody mary, and baja grilled fish tacos. So great they have a tide pool with fish and they have a paper with the kinds of fish that are swimming around. It's hidden away in this tropical island vibe super relaxing will definitely come again.

Poor table service. Sold out menu item by 715p. As a family with a small child, it took 20 min for the first arrival of the waitress. After eating, it was another 20 min before she would be back and we could get the check. Around 70 min in total. The food wasn't all that special, and frankly we think the menu could be reworked.

Unfortunately we ordered appetizer and a soup which were never delivered. All of a sudden our meals appeared with no mention of the other items we ordered. We asked to be seated outside if there was a heater near the table. While there was a heater, it was not effective and definitely needed replacing. When we asked if they could turn it up they commented that a number of their heaters are not working properly. Needless to say all of this put a damper on our meal!
Local dog friendly bar . Good food ,great drinks ,friendly staff for a fair price. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio with our dog watching people go by .

Absolutely fantastic!!!Sadly, I can not remember all of their names, but Nicole was one and the two gentlemen working the evening shift together during our stay. Top notch!

Service is always good here. We ordered the fish torta minus the torta and it was delicious!!! Chicken torta was equally delicious. The drinks were so good!!! Coconut margarita was my jam. Eating outside was such a great experience. Give this place a try.

This is used to be one of our favorite places to eat. The previous menu was amazing, wings, roasted tomato bisque, beet humus, and chips... Now they turned it into a Mexican spot. I love Mexican food, but in San Diego, there's a Mexican spot every 50 feet. Wish they would rethink their menu .
