The barleymash is a fantastic downtown San Diego spot with a great bar atmosphere and family-friendly vibe. With 20 TVs, it's perfect for watching sports. The regular menu is available until 10 pm, with delicious flatbread pizzas afterward. The short ribs are a must-try and still amazing years later. The mahi-mahi is also highly recommended. The service is phenomenal, making it an excellent place for drinks and hanging out, especially if you're in a large group. The food is really good, and the service is usually on point. Customers highly recommend the chicken strips and buffalo wings, which are said to be yummy and have great flavor. The macs also look amazing. The host waiter, Ulises Molina, provides above-and-beyond service, and the overall guest experience is positive.
