This could possibly be the best California/ San Diego style burrito there is. Absolutely the best I’ve ever had. And I tried one of the Pescado tacos and it was the perfect crisp of the batter but not too much batter and not greasy and the fish inside was fresh tasting and flaky. The slaw had a nice pepper taste to it. It was literally a 10/10 rating.
gotta love the flavor! Definitely have the kick in the spice...Salsas! Totally recommend the hot mocajete grill!!

Based on the reviews, Tacos El Cabron offers a mixed experience. The restaurant is clean with a charming ambiance and pleasant location, though the vibe can feel a bit neglected. Service is sometimes quick and efficient, but other times the cashier seemed glued to a phone, leading to casual interaction. The handmade tortillas are perfectly chewy. Some meals stand out: the fish taco was excellent, and the birria taco with cheese and carne asada taco were very tasty. The Al pastor was a bit too charred, and the chicken taco tasted like boiled chicken. One burrito was served cold, with cold carne asada. The California burrito has a heavy dose of greens and charred grilled meat, but the flavor didn’t match the cost. The salsa bar has only 2 options. For the price, the food is decent, with specials under $10 and a variety of beers. The horchata was the perfect combination of creamy, sweet, and refreshing.
