I came here a couple of years ago to meet friends for a beer. And I was introduced to a fried pretzel! OMG! I haven't had one since but I haven't stopped thinking about it!So a couple months ago, I invited a couple friends to lunch and they've changed ownership and the way they run things and the menu... Great ambiance. Cool board games. Decent selection of beers. Not necessarily a fan of the "community" rest room, that was different. Everything was very clean. Food came out hot and cooked to order with very little wait time. Bartenders were both VERY accommodating with our group's special request as well as very knowledgeable about all the beers they served. Very kid friendly, though I must admit our group let loose a couple of "F-bombs" before we knew...

I’m visiting San Diego from North Carolina and I wandered around a fair bit looking for a bar to cozy up to. I found The Barn and decided to take a chance. The bartender Brett has been an amazing conversationalist. The kitchen made me a delicious Wild West Burger. And I’m feeling very happy with my decision to come in. Many thanks to the staff and I highly recommend this place.
