Barrel Riot is a pleasant little place right where a pleasant little place needs to be. The wine is quite good, and the service is friendly and helpful. The food is okay, and it is a nice way to spend a lovely afternoon. During happy hour, the typical bar food menu is so much more than expected. The Brussel sprouts are delicious, sweeter than your usual roasted balsamic brussel sprouts, with an amazing savory sweet sauce. The fig and goat cheese flatbread is a good dish to share, not too heavy. The Strawberry French Toast is a huge hit, and the Eggs Benedict looks incredible. The Firecracker Chicken is super flavorful with the perfect amount of kick. The truffle fries are easily the best dang truffle fries at any restaurant or bar. The wines are unique, being aged in bourbon or tequila barrels. The atmosphere is awesome with great energy, a stylish setup, and TVs playing sports. The patio area is great, with heaters and fans overhead. Service is hands down 11/10, and the staff is always very friendly. Highly recommend trying this place.
