This is a must stop anytime I come to the San Diego area. In addition to their unique donuts, they also have tortas that are delicious. If you enjoy coffee, their cafe de la hoya is really good, especially with horchata.

Fancy donuts with a Mexican twist. Guava filling, Mexican chocolate etc. They also have tamales and tortas. The cold brew coffee was smooth but had way too much cinnamon for me. Service was super fast.

the shop itself is beautiful!! i love the attention to detail they put into the donuts and the box the donuts come in. unfortunately they weren’t to die for but they were okay! they’re very fluffy and light which i love, but it also felt in a way something was missing. the sweetest from the frosting was a perfect touch to help the donut out, but for $15 for 4 it wasn’t really the smartest financial decision. i would say give it a try if you’re in the area, support local...
