We were sat really quickly, and our orders came out just as quickly! That's not to knock the quality either, both our dishes were some of the best we've had. The cocktail menu was unique, and I think I've found a new favorite lol, only wish I lived closer

The food here was pretty good, i had the waygu truffle smash burger special and my god was it good. Nice flavor and everything, topped it off with the peach cobbler parfait which was phenomenal. Fries we're a little dry but we did get there a little before closing so overall nicely done ladies and gentlemen

Overly sweet BBQ, mediocre quality, overpriced. No smoke, just pure fructose corn syrupy flavor! The spicy BBQ sauce is not at all spicy. What a joke of a restaurant.

From a BBQ savant hailing from Missouri, there are several missteps here. Granted, it is San Diego… the Brisket is not smoked well. Thinly sliced, minimal smoke ring, and small portioned. Biggest fail of them all, the brisket came pre-sauced!! That’s sacrilegious. Mac n Cheese was decent, but, the ribs were chewy and riddled with un rendered fat. Price point not justified for this BBQ

My husband and I love it here! Every time we come to San Diego, we make it a priority to stop and eat at least once.

Food was great, especially the mashed potatoes with garlic butter. I have celiac so it was nice to have options and Sloan was amazing about making sure to alert the kitchen staff to my allergy needs.

Used to be my go to for bbq the last 4 years. I came in today and im high disappointed. Brisket was sad, hard and chewy. Tasted days old. Bbq ribs were seasoned but tasted old. Grilled chicken was more like canned chicken. Very sad to see this place go so downhill. Not worth it anymore.

BBQ House was the perfect way to kick off our trip to San Diego, and our bartender, Sam, made it even better. She was spunky, fun, and kept the energy high the entire time we were there.
Not only did she have great beer recommendations, but she also introduced us to an amazing tequila that we’ll definitely be ordering again. Her enthusiasm and expertise made the experience unforgettable.
This spot was the ideal start to our vacation—great drinks, great service, and an atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

I have been going here for over 25 years. Abdul and his sons, Melvin and Davin, have perfected BBQ. I love it all and their sauce is absolutely delicious! If you haven't tried the BBQ House, you are missing out. My fave is BBQ pork sandwich southern style. Their menu is extensive, and they have a full bar. Service is great, and the staff are too. Go. You won't be disappointed.

Spicy BBQ could be spicier
I've been fortunate to have BBQ all over this great country and BBQ House holds its own. This is a must visit when you come to San Diego.

Sit right next to the sidewalk and enjoy the people watching. If you like barbecue this is your place. Decent selection of beers as well. The staff is really good that they can get a little crowded in the summers.
