Delicious spot for an açaí bowl by the beach!! Went on a Sunday morning and it was quite busy so had to wait a bit. At first I thought the prices were a little inflated but then got this gigantic acai bowl. I realize how fresh they make it considering they use unsweetened açaí and blend it with either apple juice or soy milk. This bowl left me very satisfied, but I will note the menu does not seem to offer additional add ons like honey or peanut butter.
Needed a cold pick-me-up after lunch at It's Raw next door (also delicious) It was overcast but muggy that day and the smoothie was perfect to have during our walk at Sunset Cliffs. This is an unassuming smoothie/juice shack on the main street by OB dog beach. To be honest, I didn't really care if they were using fresh fruit/sherbet/frozen fruit...if you are an acai bowl/smoothie snob, maybe it's not the best option out of everything in OB and PB. Wow! If you’re looking for a great açaí bowl in OB this is the place!! I was at a nearby smoothie shop until the wait was taking forever + it was pretty overpriced ($15+) and so I decided to try this spot out and I’m so glad I did. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh/delicious, and the prices are unbeatable ($9 for a LARGE)! Come here if you’re looking to get a great quality açaí bowl for half the price. Will be returning :)
