BenGong’s Tea San Diego CA

The tea tasted extremely bitter, as if it had been made the day before. Requested toppings were missing, and customization was ignored. Overall a disappointing experience that doesn’t justify the price.

We ordered delivery and added a lot of toppings, but none of them were included—not even the ones we paid extra for. The toppings we asked to be swapped were also ignored. The black tea tasted like leftover tea base—bitter and astringent, and the fruit had no flavor at all. Very disappointing!!!

i love the drinks and boba here, but 8 times out of 10, my order is messed up. the drink literally does not match the label, how does this happen so often? yall need to seriously do better, bc everytime i go i am severely disappointed.

I really enjoyed the special boba milk tea. 🧋 I went on a Sunday morning and there was no line and service was quick. Easy to customize and no up charge. The large was $6.70.

Way too sweet, even at low sugar level

Ordered boba as the only one topping, but still they forgot…

One drink was missing boba and the other was missing crystal boba/tea jelly/whatever they claim to have there. What’s the chance of waiting 15min for two drinks that are missing every possible topping? Called yelp number and messaged on instagram but no reply at all.

A great bubble tea spot with solid flavors! The only downside is how popular it is - expect a long wait to get in. Still worth it if you’ve got the time.

I really love this Black Gold Sesame Milk Slush drink from BenGong's Tea. With the first sip, a rich sesame aroma fills your mouth. Because it's a slush drink, there's no option to adjust the ice level, so it might be a bit chilly.

The best boba ever! We buy boba here at least one time a week. It’s weird that they have such moderate google reviews score, as they are perfect.

The taste was good I got 25% sugar, it tasted a bit watered down i usually more dense Boba drinks maybe it was just the one I selected. I got the strawberry Yakult i would compare it to a strawberry lemonade without the lemon, less concentrated and with Yakult yogurt, you can't really taste the yogurt or the consistency of it which is good if you just want the probiotics in the drink but not the taste of the yogurt.

Boba is insanely high quality, and all the workers are super nice a friendly especially Trinton phung, always lifts my mood!

the tea was fine, but so many mistakes were made when ordering! we had to make several changes afterwards when we found a drink we didn't order in the receipt, and the temperature and sugar levels were all wrong, feeling bad for the customer waiting in line (gladly refund was very quick) maybe a kiosk will make things easier for everyone?

Terrible service, mediocre drinks. One of the male cashiers has the worst ever attitude anyone could imagine
