On rare occasions I get the cravings of a pregnant woman. Today, I had a craving for a hot pastrami sandwich, probably because it was my favorite meal when I lived in Boston.I googled “best hot pastrami sandwich in San Diego” and Beyer Deli came up.I live at least 16 miles away and called ahead. Family owned establishment that has been in the same location for 23 years.My order was ready in two minutes and I couldn’t wait to get home to eat my huge pastrami sandwich. ? I could barely eat half of it before I got full. Very delicious ? and satisfying.Located in an office park the deli is spacious and the ambiance is laidback and wlecoming. Very clean.The owner, her husband and daughter are very nice people. I'll be back!I rate this deli 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️.

I ordered a pastrami sandwich and a bag of chips, when I was about to pay, I was informed that they do not accept CC or debit cards... I didn't have cash on me so the nice lady told me to come pay tomorrow because it's raining...So most definitely I showed up around 9:23am and paid... I have not experienced such a nice person since I moved out to San Diego...she really renewed my faith in humanity.

Really delightful deli, very reasonable prices and out of this world customer service! The cashier was so kind and helpful. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Excellent portion sizes. I am so impressed with this place. Will definitely be back!

I came here last week and ordered 2 sandwiches, 2 cookies and 2 chips. When I got home I noticed I didn't get the cookies. The blt sandwich did not have cheese which I paid extra for and they used wheat bread when i asked for sourdough bread. I wanted to like this place, but when I feel ripped off there's no way I can.

The #4 and #16 ( turkey bacon avocado and pastrami, respectively) were the BEST sandwiches I have ever had. Pastrami was melt in your mouth GREAT! They got some weird hours and ONLY take cash, but well worth it. It only took me 3 times to catch them open. I guess that increased the anticipation, making fabulous the whole experience. I shoulda gotten there way before.....!!!
