BHC Chicken Sorrento Valley

I was in the area and decided to give this place a try for dinner! Plenty of parking, great staff, and plenty of indoor seating with a few spots outdoors. I tried the hot fried chicken tenders and potato wedges. The chicken tenders are hugeee, flaky, and tender but I just felt that they were missing flavor. The potato wedges also lacked seasoning. Maybe I needed to choose a different dipping sauce other than ranch. I had high hopes for this place as I love Korean fried chicken, but wasn't my favorite!

Best Korean fried chicken in San Diego. Crispy on the outside. A few downsides? They don’t give much pickled radish. They don’t sell a whole chicken. They only sell by cuts.

Just remember that even with only one table inside the store, the take out takes 30mins. Don’t recommend to come inside to order takeout.

I would not recommend this place unless you are very patient and have a lot of spare time.

The food is great, but the service is ridiculously slow. We ordered 8 Gold King wings, 8 Bburinkle wings, and potato wedges at 5:07 PM. We did not receive our food until 5:34 PM (27 min). Mind you, the place was empty (Tuesday early evening).

I wanted to like this place but it wasn’t for me. It was lunch time so took 20 minutes (which is fair for how fresh the chicken was), but the 8 pieces I got was not too much what I liked. I expected a crispy chicken but the crust was a bit soft and soggy? Like tempura almost. I would try again if other options are better but until then, I will probably not return.

Slow service, took about 30 minutes to get our order after ordering. Definitely seem to prioritize takeout over dine in.

The wings were soggy and felt chewy and strexhy. Overall would not recommend for their chicken and definitely not for dine in.
