I was in the area and decided to give this place a try for dinner! Plenty of parking, great staff, and plenty of indoor seating with a few spots outdoors. I tried the hot fried chicken tenders and potato wedges. The chicken tenders are hugeee, flaky, and tender but I just felt that they were missing flavor. The potato wedges also lacked seasoning. Best Korean fried chicken in San Diego. Crispy on the outside. A few downsides? They don’t give much pickled radish. They don’t sell a whole chicken. They only sell by cuts.
I would not recommend this place unless you are very patient and have a lot of spare time.
The food is great, but the service is ridiculously slow. We ordered 8 Gold King wings, 8 Bburinkle wings, and potato wedges at 5:07 PM. We did not receive our food until 5:34 PM (27 min). Mind you, the place was empty (Tuesday early evening).
