My family celebrated a birthday here and it was lovely! We can say with confidence it exceeded expectations. The food was delicious — we got the cauliflower and dumplings from the street food options and omg the dumplings were the BEST! The cauliflower was made perfectly. The seasoning and flavor was spot on and they had the right crunch (not soggy). We ordered the samosas which had a slight spice. So if you like spice, they’re perfect. The two entrees saag panner and tikka masala were amazing. The sauces are so flavorful!! I could literally drink the sauce.
The service is fantastic. My drink was never empty. The staff is SO friendly and you can tell they enjoy being here.
Will come back here again and again!!

Honestly, such a great find. The outdoor seating was super chill—perfect lighting, relaxed vibe, just a really nice atmosphere overall.
We got the chicken momo, butter chicken, chicken tandoori, and garlic naan. Everything was so good. The momo was juicy and flavorful—probably the best I’ve had anywhere, and I’m from NYC where we’ve got a lot of options. The tandoori chicken was surprisingly soft, and that butter chicken? Amazing. Garlic naan was soft and fresh too—perfect for scooping everything up.
Momo was a bit pricey (again, even by NYC standards), but the quality totally made up for it. Definitely worth it. Would 100% come back.

My family and I took the coaster to old town and came to dinner here. My husband Chose it trying to try new foods. Because we had never had this type of food we asked the waitress to basically surprise us and we ended up getting butter chicken momos , lamb kadhae and nawaratan korma. Everything was delicious and tasted so fresh. We will definitely be back!

This is a nice Nepalese/Indian restaurant in Old Town. They have indoor and patio dining. We ate on the beautiful patio. They gave us complementary lentil soup (delicious). We had several Nepalese appetizers and then chicken Tikka masala, saag paneer and garlic naan for dinner. All dishes were great. The service was friendly and helpful suggesting dishes and spice levels. We will definitely be back.

The food is amazing, 10 spice levels so they’re sure to suit you. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. We had a party of 5, made a reservation, came early, were sat promptly, and had a fantastic time.
They didn’t have a veggie vindaloo on the menu but I asked and they were gracious enough to prepare one!

I would give it a 5 star except that it is very expensive. Other than that, food was delicious and very nice service.

The cutest delivery delivery person brought a paper sack filled with food to my hotel room the bag was so heavily laden with food that I almost dropped it. In appreciation of such generous portions and the politeness I upped their tip.
I ordered lentil soup and vegetarian tikka. The naan was delicious too and so much of it.
My mother's father was a fellow who every time he dined at a restaurant he exclaimed this tastes just like home. And every time he ate at home he said this tastes just like a restaurant.
Sometimes I channel my grandfather and the food felt like home because san diego is home away from home.
You see my father wanted us kids to travel and he knew that if we got used to air conditioning we would forfeit the ability to travel to the far reaches of earth. So we had no air conditioning at home growing up in Los Angeles.
I would plead with my father I said Ta can you please install air conditioning. He would say eh the house is an old house it is a very problematic situation. Then I would say what about a window unit? Eh those are dangerous they can fall out.
So once a year during the hottest week of late summer my dad would take us to a hotel in San Diego to cool off.

Good food. I got an Uber Eats order, and everything was warm. The rice was enjoyable, and the shrimp pakora was okay. The naan had a different texture, not the chewy and yummy texture I am accustomed to. I would not order again, but the food was good enough to satisfy me until my next meal.

Excellent nosh with the softest, freshest Naan. 👌🏽
The ambience was relaxing and the servers humble and knowledgeable. It was a short visit to san diego or I would have gone back.

What a gem this is, surrounded by about 52,427 Mexican restaurants in the Old Town area of San Diego!
My fiancée and I ate here for our anniversary this past weekend and found everything about it really relaxing and super friendly. The interior of the restaurant is small, with most guests opting for outdoor dining on their large patio, which is clean and really inviting. We did choose to eat inside, however, as it was a bit chilly outside for us.
The staff are very friendly and super attentive — we never had to ask for water to be refilled or wave at them for anything; they were on top of our needs from start to finish, and couldn’t have been nicer. Service was prompt and food/drink was served in a very timely manner.
The food here is delicious. The star of the meal were the steamed Chicken Momo dumplings! Oh, man! You could literally each order a plate of these little nuggets of yum, and that could be dinner; no joke! These are a must.
We also had the Cheese Naan bread, along with their Chicken Tikka Masala, both of which were fantastic. Of note — since this isn’t a straight-up Indian restaurant, their Chicken Tikka Masala is creamier and sweeter than what you might expect (other Indian places make it more savory and spicy). I asked for “mild” heat on mine, and easily could have had “medium,” I believe.
I had Mango Iced Tea and my fiancée had Mango Lassi, both of which were refreshing and super tasty.
The prices here are definitely very good, considering the tourist hot spot this restaurant is found in. If we were San Diego locals, this would definitely be in our rotation! Dining here was definitely a highlight of our anniversary weekend! Highly recommend it! GET THE CHICKEN MOMOS!
