Found this place by happenstance, and grateful we did. I recently moved out of California and have lived in various states, but I literally can’t find anything better than Bistro. I definitely would take a flight to san diego just to eat here one more time.

Absolutely delicious, friendly service, quiet out of the way location. They were swamped by a huge party (it's a small place) but were so communicative and kind and the wait was not even bad. It was only one amazing chef (and owner) and a wonderful waitress. If you want amazing homie real food and to support a small business this is absolutely my recommendation. I will come back every time I'm in Lajolla 100% (Edit: I wanted to add my mom got the sea food pasta with Clams Mussles Calimari and Salmon and it was delicious, perfectly cooked and fresh. I got the Chicken pasta with garlic sauce and Broccoli and again chicken was soft and Broccoli had the perfect level of crunch.)

First time in San Diego, and wanted some Italian food. Saw this place and said looks great. Sat down with no wait on a Friday night at 8! The waiter was also very welcoming. Ordered the fried calamari and carpaccio for our appetizers and it was DELICIOUS! For our main dishes we ordered the seafood fettuccine and rigatoni ai 4 formaggi. It was some of the best Italian food I’ve had! Service was also amazing.

Bistro Pazzo is the best local spot for Italian food in La Jolla. The Rigatoni Al 4 Formaggi and the Rodfather's Meat-a-Balls are two favorites. The pastas come with bread and fresh pesto sauce which is such a unique and delicious touch. Great wine selection as well. Can't wait to come back!

It's really close to La Jolla Cove, so you can visit here after you watch seals and sea lions. The dinner time starts from 4pm.The owner was nice, and the kitchen was so clean, ingredients were fresh, food was so delicious. Honestly I was not full after finishing one dish, but I am satisfied with everything.
