This was a fantastic experience for my family. My son chose the steak and fries option, and the quality and portion size would've been plenty for an adult. I ordered rhe chicken, which was unbelievably good. Great flavor, perfectly done. A little loud, but it was a Friday evening so to be expected. Fantastic size pours and large selection on wine. I would highly recommend to all.
Been here many times over the years and usually excellent. This time was not quite that good, still a good time, but felt as though with Restaurant Week menu, which we used, they were cutting corners a bit. Specifically, beet salad with goat cheese has goat cheese that usually is warm, but this felt as though it had been sitting out pre-prepared. We had four different main courses and all were excellent. Wine choices very good, enjoyed each one. A couple of desserts felt pre-prepared...
We ate here for San Diego Restaurant Week, and ordered off of the special menu. Great ambience in a trendy area of town with very limited parking. The restaurant interior is intimate but quite dark: definitely a problem for the vision impaired. Our server was very attentive until we got our meal, then she disappeared. The wine and desserts were the highlight of the meal. The crab appetizers, and beef bourguignon and duck leg entrees were all overcooked.
