Blue Bottle Coffee

I ordered a quad espresso and it came out tasting like colored water. Very disappointed and no from the staff except a lame excuse about different Coffee flow rates. I will stick to La Colombe from now on. What was I thinking!?

I accidentally forgot my suitcase nearby and the employees found it and called me and gave it back. I appreciate them doing that. I got a breakfast sandwich and was very filling and delicious thank you.

Nice little coffee shop on the edge of the UTC mall. There is seating inside or a few tables and chairs outside too. Parking is free for the first 2 hours.

EXCELLENT little coffee shop. Can relax, chit chat, study, 📚 read , use the laptop or just cruise on the cellphone. I feel soooh Comfortable here. No loud music, no loud conversations... JUST PLAIN PEACE, SERENITY, SOLITUDE. AND MY CUP OF ☕️

Even on weekday mornings, it’s quite busy, with many nearby professionals lining up for coffee and casual chats. Be prepared for a bit of a wait for your drinks, though, as the lines can be long.

Both the drinks and bakery items are on the expensive side, but the quality is undeniable. My personal favorite is the NOLA Shakerato—a smooth and unique blend of coffee, milk, and vanilla syrup. The taste is rich and velvety, and although it’s pricey, it’s definitely worth a try!

Best coffee shop at UTC! Baristas are always welcoming and the coffee is great. If you’re in a rush, mobile order pickup is fast and easy. Prices are average for La Jolla coffee.

I am new to drinking Blue Bottle and the barista, Natalie suggested I try the iced Nola. I tried it with oatmilk and it was perfect! I told her I liked pretty sweet drinks and this was sweet but didn't feel like a typical sugary drink, you could taste the chicory! The atmosphere is pretty chill and not overwhelming, however when they are busy - they are busy! I also tried the Blondie! Which was better than expected as well!! I really appreciated the barista's knowledge because I think I found my new fav drink! But I plan to return to be shocked and amazed by her next recommendation :)
