I am Italian and can confidently state that this is true Italian gelato and one of the best I have had in the US! The flavors are American (not traditional Italian) but the creaminess and quality is top notch! Service is friendly and it has a good outdoor sitting area.

The gelato here is really stellar and the service is super friendly. I got a passionfruit chocolate and had them add their expresso to it and it was amazing. The expresso is really tasty. The two together was again, stellar. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the mall.

This is by far one of my favorite gelato spots in SD! Staff is always friendly. It's a quaint spot at the UTC mall. They change flavors all the time or mix a few flavors. I always have to stop by when I'm here.

we love stopping by for a post dinner treat here. the gelato is on point. coffee is always tasty. small little place tucked in utc. just look for the ice cream sign and you're there! servers are knowledgeable and helpful. good place to wrap up an evening

The kindest workers and GREAT coffee! Stopped here for a quick bite with my boyfriend in September and we were pleasantly surprised with the caramel latte! We asked them to make it sweeter and they were very kind about it and did a great job! The ice cream was creamy and delicious, not too sweet which as an asian, I am saying as a compliment! Cute decorations and a bar to sit at

Check in on Yelp for 20% off!! I didn't see this unfortunately before coming here. To be fair I did not learn of this place through Yelp, I was shopping at the UTC mall (it had been like 5 years since I had last visited and a lot has changed since then) and just encountered this place organically while walking around. I was craving a sweet treat, and was suckered into getting gelato with its signs saying it's healthier than ice cream (looking at you Salt and Straw lol). They had so many interesting flavors but I'm a bit of a plain Jane so when I saw they had a panna cotta flavor, I sampled that and knew right away I wanted a whole scoop of it. It's a very good vanilla/milky flavor! Overall very happy customer :) would recommend!
