The food was good but no regular ketchup no ranch dressing no egg breakfasts with no meet. Service was terrible, long wait to order and once the food came the server didn’t come back until we were almost finished eating. Disappointing because it is very overpriced.

The pesto mushroom Benedict was perfect. I asked how was the sauce when plated because this dish could have foreseeable consequences if too much of one or other or both. This was so tasty and not too much sauce. I could taste a little of everything. The American breakfast was simple and satisfying. Breakfast Republic is usually great. This location has less indoor seating and the bathroom floor is so caked with cleansers it’s sticky. So if you can ignore the state of the bathroom and snuggly seating, breakfast republic is always great.
Kid-friendliness: If you like to allow your kids to wiggle about this place might make you nervous. But they will love the food.

I would return a thousand times. I really liked the food menu and the coffee was very good
Not sure what just happened at this establishment, but my family and I are displeased by the service we received.
Multiple tables received their food before us even though they arrived and ordered after we did so.
The server was completely oblivious. She did not check-in. She did not take ownership over our delayed food arrival. When my son requested sour cream, another server was audibly upset and made an inaudible comment. When were visibly finished eating, once again other tables were serviced before ours.
We had high hopes. The establishment came highly recommended. However, this was not a good way to begin our day in San Diego.

The food and service was great
It was not as busy as usual which was nice for a change. The place is not very big but it has both indoor and outdoor seating and bar

Hostess was incompetent and ignored us.
Not enough servers and long wait times. Staff appeared unhappy to be there and wanted to go home.
Overall, a terrible restaurant

Nice brunch spot....small outdoor patio seating area is pleasant (on the 2nd floor) and indoor seating has an airy feel. Space is cozy overall without seeming right. Portions are all good sized/large. The shrimp & grits and pesto Benedict were both excellent...the bloody Mary was fine, but just a bit too sour. The Jurassic Park bacon was soft/not crispy, and was a sugared-chipotle flavor (which, while tasty, the texture was somewhat off putting). All in all, haven't had a bad dish there yet and definitely recommend them!
