It was a Saturday evening so busier than when I've gone previously. Food was good, but very slow to cone out from the kitchen. Waiter was busy so longer than normal to receive service. But overall good visit, will visit again.
They are very service oriented here, and treat their diners well. The menu is creative and the dishes are nicely presented. My only disappointment was that this restaurant used to give Open Table points, but now, instead, they want you to join a loyalty program and reward you with items you may not want, and you have a deadline to cash in the reward ticket— I'm not interested in being on anyone else's schedule to come to a restaurant- and I don't necessarily want...
Booked a reservation here after watching the afternoon show at balboa theater yesterday (Sat 11/1). When my family (6 of us adults) arrived, there were only 2 other tables and it was about 430 pm. We had extremely slow service with poor attitude. When my bf and I got our pizza that we were sharing, I had to waive down the Mgr to ask for plates, and as he was walking over to me, he was shaking his head no multiple times as if I should not be trying to get his attention or something....
