I came here a couple of nights ago with great anticipation. Escargot Yummy. But that was not to be. I should have known when they were served almost immediately after placing my order, actually quicker than fries at a burger joint. But unlike those analogous fries, the escargot were only lukewarm at best, and one shell was empty. Oh, and they were the blandest specimens I have ever had. Perhaps lacking adequate cooking time? Was looking forward to their world famous mussel bisque as I've had it three times before but this time I was quite disappointed. It was not buttery goodness. It tasted bland and fishy. What happened? Service was great as always but that bisque. I would not order again. Then we ordered the chefs pizza. That was good with blue cheese and dried figs but that bisque left me with a not so good aftertaste

Delicious food, which was well plated. I had a mussel bisque en route. She had a salad with pan seared prosciutto. We shared a scallops dish and filet mignon. Melt in your mouth! The sourdough was warm and sour. The chocolate cake was light and tasty. We will repeat.
