It seemed they were short staffed. We were a party of 9 so we understand it would take longer but we did not leave until 830pm with a 530pm reservation time. We were constantly looking for our server just to get refills, ask about food we had already ordered like garlic bread which didn't come until after our entrees were delivered. The poor bus boy was dripping sweat like he was the only one there. I don't feel it was the server, definitely management who did not think about proper staffing. Food was great as usual and the actual restaurant is adorable.
Order of food served was scrambled: entrees arrived before bread salad appetizers and drinks
We got seated at 5:50 but didn't get our food until 7:20pm! And when the food came out some of it was cold! We expressed our frustrations to the waiter who only said “that's why I brought out some extra sauce at no charge” like really!!! I've been to this location many times and never had such a bad experience, I will really need to think hard about going back again.
This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we so pleasantly surprised with the service and food especially on Christmas Day. Our server Wayne was amazing and very attentive. We will definitely be coming again!
We arrived before our reservation time, but were seated right away, which was nice. The service was excellent considering how busy they were. The food was delicious and there's a lot of it. We brought home enough for 2 more meals. Prices are high, but worth it for what you get.
The food we ordered was a complete disappointment. The chicken parmasan was so dry, bland and pounded flat like a pancake And, there was hardly Any cheese on top. The breading had no crisp to it at all it was moist instead. The seafood pasta dish was lacking seafood, very little came with the pasta, disappointing to say the least. The pizza was terrible! The crust was soft and they put WAY too much blue cheese on it. It overwhelmed the entire flavor of the pizza and you couldn't taste anything else at all. We were very disappointed with the entire dinner. The quality has really gone downhill. We absolutely used to love eating here but after our recent visit I'm sad to say but this will be our last time eating at Buca's.
We had a great family dinner for 8. The food was delicious and the server was extremely good! Great place for a gathering!
Very high prices..... 3 chicken Parmesan did not come with even a spoonful of pasta....$40 for 3 chicken breasts. $20 for mozzarella garlic bread! Children's portions are big..... one child plate would serve 3-4 kids. Private equity takeover means higher prices and lower quality. Lunch prices more reasonable. Go for lunch.
I hate writing about bad experience. I genuinely do but this was bare minimum and wasn't the best service. My family and I were celebrating my mother's birthday. She's had a long and very rough year. From surgeries to cancer. This dinner was a true meaning of celebrating her life. When we arrived it's a Monday night and very very quiet inside and outside the restaurant. You would think since it's a quiet night service would try harder or be better. My family of 10 sat down, we were not “difficult” if anything we are so easy because we all have background in costumer service and we understand the restaurant industry. One thing I find displeasing is the simple fact that we are the only party upstairs and we were having to ask for items the waiter should be refilling or clearing. Tyler was our waiter. He was nice, got our order right. We didn't order anything complicated. No modifications. But it was the lack energy that caught us off guard. We did ask if certain items had lemon or lime because we had an allergy ticket but was never asked if anyone at the table has allergies. He would give us answers like “uh I don't think so”. That was a red flag. Steps of hospitality with an allergy was not executed! Food came out fine, it was hot.Taste was edible Before we cut the cake we finished out dinner, we sat and mingled for awhile but we noticed our table hadn't been check on or our table hadn't been touched in a while. We were the only table upstairs. Finally our server came and brought Togo boxes after being asked. Now dessert. We had bought our own cake. Cake came in the box we brought which is fine. But he had to go back and get cake plates. A lot of back and forth when again... we were the only people in the room. We paid the bill. We ended up having to get up and get to go bags which again server steps. The simple and basic steps of hospitality were BARELY met. Unfortunately my great grandmother walked out saying and feeling “like yesterdays minority”
We had a party of 10 on Thanksgiving and we had a great time. The service was great as was the food. We will certainly be returning.

The service was awful. Everything was extremely slow, they kept forgetting our orders, and we never received all our dishes at the same time. We had to repeat what we needed several times. Other customers around us were having the same issues.
This was Veterans Day, and I don't believe they were expecting so many people on a Tuesday. However, the service seemed slow and the waiters seemed confused about what was going on for Veterans Day. The food as always was good.
Awesome service and great food! The Pope room was awesome and interesting for conversation.
Hadn't been in a while, definitely not the restaurant I remembered. AC way too high and you could hear it buzzing the whole night. Food lackluster, the poor food runner was dripping with sweat, all over the table and the cost seemed exorbitant. Friendly waiter, very nice hostess.
Delish!!!
