As a native I cannot believe I have not ever been here; it was a great place to catch up with friends! The ambiance is light, not a lot of noise, even in the bar area. Server was fantastic, did not pressure or rush us into ordering. Prime rib was good, could have used a little more seasoning and the creamy horseradish did not have much horseradish in it. Overall the price for what we got was fair. Brussel sprouts and the fried artichoke balls were absolutely delicious!
This is an under-rated venue that we are going to have to return to more often. Meat, fish and vegetables are fresh and delicious. Cocktails are creative and consistently good. Wine list is not varied but each offering matches the cuisine exceptionally well. It is the best prime rib in SD.
It was our 54th Anniversary, and we're had noted that on our open table reservation. However, It was not celebrated. No offer of dessert even. Our drink order took 15 minutes to appear at our table. So disappointed. We are repeat customers, but not happy this time.
We had reservations for our third anniversary, and was looking forward to prime rib. To our disappointment our waitress was unkind and cold to us, due to her informing us they are all premade, and I needed no pepper. So I ended up ordering a steak medium well, and came back almost raw, since she took off and did not come back to check on usI waited and waited and she said my that is not medium well and after my husband was almost finished she said she would take it back and cook it. We asked for a box and left. She was the was the worse server we have had anywhere. Lousy place. We will not make that mistake twice.
The service and food was fantastic. All the staff were super super friendly and polite and respectful and just like welcoming we really enjoyed it. We're coming back !!
Best bones and Manhattan ever. Will always visit when in SD. Bryce thank you!! 😊

Great place to watch the World Cup Match, have a great piece of Prime Rib, and excellent service by Melissa, who went above and beyond to make sure that we had a nice time.

Great place to eat, great food, great service. Second visit. GIGI was hospitable.
Nice place
First time here and for the most part, 5 Stars. The only the little dink was this:
99% of the time, when ordering Prime Rib across USA, I am served it being roasted. This Prime Rib was served a grilled steak, which wasn't clearly mentioned on the menu. I requested rare and this was by no means rare, with grilled marks.
French Onion soup was very good. My side, Asparagus, was spot on! Service was a delight. Bathrooms were very clean.

The service was good, and everyone was welcoming. There aren't a lot of gluten free items if you have any dietary restrictions. The teriyaki steak skewers, steak fries, and Burger, were good. The only thing that was not enjoyed was the Kung Pao wings, and the Chicken chipotle soup. Those wings are usually crispier, but these were not. And the soup has a lot of spice with no flavor.
Fantastic place that helped out our large group just before closing time. Awesome food and customer service.
A San Diego classic still surprising us in every visit!

Food was great as usual.
It was the service that lacked big time.
I was visiting from thousand Oaks.
And had not been here for maybe a year.
Waitress leighann was slow and rude.
If you go just make sure she is not your waitress.
Do not order the Abalone at Bully's. I understand this is not a gourmet restaurant, but the chef has no idea how to prepare it. For the price it was a total waste of money.
