Disgusting overcooked food that had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for quite a while and the service was absolute trash. $30 for a soggy corn dog with cold fries and soggy chicken strip kids meal plus an ADDITIONAL $19.25 for ONE BEER!? And they can’t even make sure it’s fresh?
I’m seriously pissed. I can’t believe I just got scammed for $49 at the San Diego zoo, I genuinely thought this place would have a shred of ethical business practice.

The pizza was tiny and not worth the cost. The burger was a much better option

Ordered two hotdog children meals and a chicken sandwich. Hotdogs came immediately but had obviously been cooked at least three hours before as they were shriveled, wrinkled, and hard in spots. Was told I’d have to wait 30-45 minutes if I wanted replacements. Chicken sandwich took 30 minutes to come and was actually good. Lesson learned again to bring all your food to the zoo as all options are not good.

Paid for my food and waited over 30 minutes. Everyone behind me received their food. Ended up having to get a refund and the manager was garbage. Never again!

Good food and great service.

It was a good place but they said the pizza was a 10” inch pizza but gave me the smaller one. I asked for my pizza and they said that was the ten inch!! The staff did not care about it. Another person had that problem and nothing was done about it.

Liked the name of cafe which is situated inside the zoo and it aligns with zoo perfectly.
As name suggests, it’s always Busy ☺️.

Yes, good place to enjoy meal that can be enjoyed in the zoo. You get quite an option for veg meals or drinks while you need to energize taking the tour of the zoo.

The prices felt overpriced and seems its double the amount for a vegetarian meal.

This is one of the few restaurants at the San Diego Zoo with a vegan meal so it’s on the one I most often frequent when I visit the zoo. They have a decent vegan burger and their shoe strong French fries are so tasty.

There’s plenty of seating right outside the cafe and a confinement section too. Plus there are some ala cart items to pick up in the check out line like honey sticks, Powerade, and cupcakes.

Ordered my kid a hamburger but got a thin hockey puck on a bun. I know you don't love my kids like I do, but feeding them food like that feels like you hate kids. I think executives at the zoo should be forced to eat the kids meals every day. Maybe the quality will improve. Shame on you for treating kids like that

Completely overcooked beef patties in the burgers and the wings were also extremely dry and overcooked.

I spent $74 on 2 beers and 2 plates of food and threw most of it away. I don’t recommend this place. They had some grilled chicken wraps that were probably a better option because the hot food was cooked to death. Not enjoyable.
