I tried many samples. Service was good but the icecream was weird. It wasn't creamy and it tasted like seeds for the pistachio icecream. The crepe is good same as alot of other crepes but the icecream was not good at all. ?

It's actually a 4.5 star for me. Cafe hue is really nice and cute, I took off .5 points because I ordered their Nutella Mixed Berry Crepe, and I didn't think too much of it because it's berries (blue, rasp, and strawberry come to mind). I didn't know they had kiwi in it, and I have a slight allergic reaction to kiwis. Though is it my fault for just assuming there wasn't kiwi in it. But overall, the crepe is delicious, and I would order again, just a different crepe selection

I am so grateful to my fellow yelpers for leading me to Cafe Hue! This little gem is in the same shopping center at Nijiya market on Convoy, another gem... The parking lot there is always pretty full but people are always going in an out so you'll find a spot with a little patience. The shop is super cute, very clean, and well organized. There were two women working and they were both so helpful and informative. We learned they make the berry sauce in house every day and it was AMAZING!! All their teas can be hot or iced -- I had peach tea, iced with green tea base...you can also opt for a black tea base. I enjoyed my waffle so much I almost took a picture of my empty plate for Yelp just to show how I ate every drop and morsel!

We have been coming to this place for ice cream. A few days ago, my newborn pooped in his diaper and my husband kindly asked if he could use their changing station/restroom. We were very disappointed that they told us no unless we make a purchase. We are definitely not coming back to this place again.

2/29/24 @7PM ordered crepe & finished it right away coz its too good but when i ordered another one they made it too fast, looks too saggy too cold not even crunchy compare to the first one i ordered, it looks old & doesnt taste good. Asked them to make me, Another one & they said its supposed to look like that, ive been to this place a lot of time and this is the first time i had a bad crepe ever. This girl made me another and said "i made it as fast as i can", thats the thing they make it so fast that the crepe is not even cook yet and it doesnt even look good, So disappointed tonight. This is the only crepe place i go to all the time. First time ive seen them there, hopefully when i go there next time it wont be them making my crepe!!!!! see the comparison of my first order and the 2nd order!!!!!!

I have to give Cafe Hue 3 stars (bordering on 2) because the Salted Carmel Banana and Taro crepes tasted great but they weren't hot, they were barely warm. I prefer all of my food hot so I don't know if this was a one off or the norm and I'd like to hear back from the owner.

I usually don’t review but Hue cafe has the best caramel latte I’ve had since living in San Diego for the last seven years. Not too strong, foamy, creamy delicate. I’ve seen a lot of male groups come for the gelato and female groups for the crepe and coffee. It’s perfect for everyone. This cafe should be in La Jolla by the water!

A cute little cafe that serves great coffees, tea drinks and gelato. Oh, and a variety good sweet and savory crepes. Oh, and yummy Belgian waffles. It’s in a great location next to some amazing Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese restaurants. A cool spot to sit and chat. Free wifi!

OMG!! I love this place!! It smells so delicious as soon as you walk in! Like delicious waffles, crepes, and swimming through sugar. They have both savory and sweet, and the pricing is totally reasonable. Be sure to stop in for something absolutely delicious! Like the best dessert ever!

Great variety of drinks and treats. The Milk Tea Float is awesome. It’s a scoop of gelato on top of a milk tea. Must try. Friendly staff and very clean too.

Best crepes for your dollar in SD. Outside slightly crisp, not super chewy, big portions, good flavors.Especially, try the savory crepes!
