A Bahn Mi joint with a drive thru? Unheard of! If you've been to the Mira Mesa location, they're practically identical. LAdy in the drive thru was really nice and was super fast. I wish the drive thru menu displayed more items listed like they do inside such as their drinks, as they only advertise the sandwiches and some rice plates.

We just found out Cali Baguette Express has multiple locations! We were used to the one in Mira Mesa, but this one is equally as great. The lady at the register was very sweet and patient as we looked at all the different chips and sweets available on the table.

We enjoy these restaurants because the vegetables are crisp, the meats well seasoned, and the freshness of the bread.

Wonderful spot, homemade bread, and the person who runs the business was the cashier and really talked up the product! So we ended up getting large Vietnamese coffee, a whole fresh baked baguette (still soft and warm), 2 sandwiches (one bbq pork and the other pork belly), 4 egg rolls (2 of 2 different types), and a milk tea to go. Friendly atmosphere, and apparently really good for Ramadan and cheap late night eats!
