Not the best banh mi in San Diego, but it's the only non fast-food and non-mexican food option open before 10am in Convoy. The service was exceptional and they have a really yummy Vietnamese iced coffee.
My husband ordered four different banh mi. The grilled chicken , the lemon grass , surf & turf, & the Cod. Personally the bread itself was great , but the overall banh mi’s were okay. The lemon grass steak meat was okay and peppered nicely but I could taste lemon grass at all. My sister didn’t like the grilled chicken she said it lacked flavor for her.
