Jordan made our night! The service was impeccable and he was so kind, engaging, and made our experience very special. I'll definitely be back to see Jordan and try new plates!

Loved the flavorful Aleppo chicken and Lamb Dolmas. Overall, it felt just a little overpriced and the service staff seemed to be trying to sell us the expensive stuff. 20% gratuity and 4% living surcharge is added and they were very clear about it (which I appreciate). It is somewhere between a high end restaurant and a fine dining place. I would definitely want to go again just to taste the Aleppo chicken and Dolmas.

This by far is one of the best places that I have ever eaten. There were not any tables open. I made reservations a few weeks before I went here. I can't wait to go back and have been dreaming of the food since I left.Everyone was knowledable and our drinks were never empty and empty dishes were cleared immediately. My food allergies were not an issue and acknowledged with every plate delivered. They offered alternatives as well. What I ordered for a party of two over the course of 3 hours in order of my favorite item overall to my least:1. Beets & Blood Orange - if you like beets at all you must get this. This was by far my most favorite.2. Grilled Lamb Berguez Dolmas - This was my second favorite item. The meat was cooked to perfection with a pink center. The grape leaves wrapped perfectly. Muah!3. Babaghnoush with vegetable crudite--okay first they offered the crudite instead of pita which was amazing. My associate had the pita but I would say if you aren't partial to that get the crudite. Fresh and wonderful.4. Japanese Kanpachi - I wasn't sure what this was really when I ordered it. Has a hint of spice which was subtle and not overpowering. It was raw or lightly cooked but I eat raw sushi often. This is a thinly sliced fish with a little sauce. If you are not a fan of more of a tartare chunk this may be right for you.5. Line - Caught Market Fish - This was really good, just after the Kanpachi a difficult one to follow.6. Chilled Broccolini - This out of everything was my least favorite. I think comparison to the other items it just wasn't as flavorful.

A must , food is amazing , very creative and well presented / prepared. Liked the decor , on the noisy side but nice ambiance.Service was good so got thrown off when the team was going to serve champagne in a wine glass and white wine in a red wine glass. Also abrupt ending with the check (no offer for coffee) but still well be back !

Incredible food and amazing service! Jordan crafted us a feast that took dietary restrictions into account and it was to die for. Highly recommend the Wild Nettle Pasta and the Egyptian Carrots! We also had the wine pairings which were so great and well explained too. Best sit-down dining experience in San Diego!

We have eaten at Callie several times now and have come to the conclusion that it is the best dining experience in San Diego. The food is incredible. Every single bite is an experience. So many flavors! Give me an order of uni toast and the Patatas Bravas and I'm a happy man. The Aleppo Chicken is mind-blowing. Have not had a bad bite of anything in all of our visits. Service is top notch! From Tim you walk in to the time you leave the service staff and management is on top of making sure you have a great experience. If you haven't been to Callie get yourself a reservation and treat yourself to a night out. They will take great care of you. Best of the best! ?Vegetarian options: There are so many vege options that are so good. The babaghanoush, hummus, broccolini, carrots and Patatas Bravas are just a few of the options we always find on our table when we visit. So good!Parking: Parking garage on opposite side of the block from street entrance. Hostess stand will validate 3 hours of parking.

Everything about this place was outstanding!!! It was the most flavorful dinner we have ever had for a long time! And I am so surprised how allergen friendly they were! Everything on the menu had vegan and gluten free options!!You don't get this in a lot of places so I was very surprisedWe had bourbon and mezcal cocktails which were phenomenal and started with hummus with pita bread and veggies on side for gluten free options. And then we shared aleppo chicken, black harissa lamb chops and mushroom. Everything was sooooo tender and amazing.Appetizer hummus came with fermented Serrano pepper in the middle, it was sooooo delicious. We just had an amazing night with service and ambiance and the food - we will definitely be back ?

Callie hosted a fundraising dinner for Feeding San Diego last night. Their team is absolutely phenomenal. They made the Feeding San Diego staff and our honored guests feel so incredibly welcomed and taken care of in support of a great cause. From Chef Travis, to his lovely wife Mia, to Anna, to James, to others I unfortunately wasn't able to get their names, thank you so much for a wonderful and impactful evening. Most of the staff shared that they've been with Callie since the beginning. You can tell they're amazing people, with great hearts, and so passionate about their craft. We are so grateful!!!

Great food, not enough time to try the different dishes. 5 of us were rushed through a $600 meal in an hour. They were late seating us at 5:30, obviously they wanted to flip the table at 7:15. Order two dishes, with one person and you’ll be fine.

It's not a bad restaurant, but a little disappointing given the hype and the price point.Broccolini salad: five stars for outstanding flavor.Steak: four stars for a decent cut of meat cooked appropriately.Scarpinocc: three stars for unimpressive flavor.Drink (kook juice): three stars -- the flavor had potential but it tasted a little watered down.Service: mixed experience. Three stars for the waiter who was sometimes slow to come back to us and seemed a little impatient at times. Five stars for the guy who refilled our water and cleared our plates for his exceptional timelines and politeness.
