I recommend!! Definitely a hidden gem! ?The food and service were great! Our server Sam was very attentive and kind.We got the Gnocchi Urbino which is gnocchi with white sauce, sausage, mushroom in a thick bread bowl. It was delicious and flavorful !! Rosemary was a nice touch. Perfect for sharing ?We also got the wings for happy hour and they were soooo yummy!Love the concept and unique combinations :)

Great fusion, went more Asian this time, since it was "Roll'back Thursday. Definitely coming back and going more Italian with some pizza! Favorites of the night were probably the House Special board (Special butter), Squash blossom (Mediterraneo Tempura) Mango Punch, Sailor Moon and the Matcha tiramisu we got for posting ?

Was hesitant but I’m really happy we decided to be adventurous!Get the house gnocchi pizza crust bowl (chef specialty) and the yoko ono sushi roll. It was a pleasant experience ?

Ok I don’t write reviews for local places because I am on the run all the time. HOWEVER, when something blows me away I like to promote them. OMG the gnocchi bread amazingness is unbelievable! I have had gnocchi before even in Italy but severed in a bread bowl OMFG that is amazing. The vibe is trendy low key. I think this is my new favorite restaurant in San Diego! P.S. wife had sushi and said it was delicious (I hate fish so no idea there but she likes it for reasons unknown to me?). Perfect date night or couples who have different palates. Just a great place you should go!

CinkKuni was great.The menu is a fun combination of italian and japanese, with lots of options for if you like either one. It is executed to create some delicious dishes. Went for happy hour and they have a good selection that varies by the day. Food was excellent and so was the service. The pizzas were really good.They brought waters to the table and then the pitcher so we could refill our own cup, which was nice to have. However, one of the staff would come around and refill the glass before it was to low. Staff was very nice and provided great service.
Great mix of food drinks and a big screen TV lots of craft on tap loved it sushi rolls were huge and mixed sashimi was nice generous pieces def be back!

The menu here is an absolutely fun and fabulous fusion of Japanese and Italian-style dishes with more of an upscale vibe than we expected. Traditional Japanese and Italian options are available if fusion-style cuisine isn't your thing.Also, this is the first pizza place I've visited that didn't have those *stupid* pepper shakers that take forever to use. They bring you a POT of dried chilis ?Vegetarian options: All pizza crusts are vegan, abs vegan cheese and meat substitutions (mushrooms or specially-spiced potatoes) are available for all pizzas.Vegetarian options are clearly labeled. Nice selection of vegan sushi rolls.Dietary restrictions: Gf/low carb options available on the sushi menu!

We were greeted by the owner Kuniko and felt welcomed and right at home. We had a wonderful evening and the food was delicious. Sam was exceptional and naturally gifted in sensing our needs and attending to them. Don’t let the blend of Italian and Japanese culture scare you away. The infusion of the two culture is simply amazing. Don’t be intimidated by the unknown of mixing Italian and Japanese fusion; the experience of both intertwined is phenomenal !

OMG! Try the Tempura Mediterraneo! Squash blossoms in a tempura batter is to die for! Another fave is the Topo Gigio. Four cheeses with a miso paste and the pizza cooked in a stone fire oven with a foccacia dough...I've Died and gone to heaven! Not to mention the most killer sake menu I have ever seen in SD (or anywhere really). They also boast an amazing beer menu from local breweries. With events almost daily, there is never a dull moment to the ambience this place offers. By far my fave place! ❤️
