Delicious tacos, highly recommend the black chile al pastor and the ribeye! Great salsa as well

Went in for a quick lunch. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered a couple of the black Al pastor tacos which were great but a bit off from a traditional Al pastor flavor (imo). It was more sweet than the sweet and savory balance I would expect. I would love to visit again and try more food.

This place is such a underrated/unknown gem. I hope they can open more locations eventually. The food is absolutely amazing. Quality ingredients, and one of the best taco shops in SD. If you have friends or family visiting SD bring them here.

Our downtown office ordered via GrubHub based on someone's experience with them at another location. When I went to pick up the food the staff was smiles and nice. The moment I asked if the food was labeled for each person's order THEY told me that it was not indicated on the receipt and the attitude began. I was begrudginly given a pen and the handwritten order slip. I asked for assistance to figure out which tacos were which; they were NOT happy to do that but did. I asked for additional green sauce and was told NO THERE IS NONE (meanwhile it was in the food prep area). The food is average, at best. Other local shops have much better choices, much better portions, for much better prices and service with a smile.

A quick stop turned out to be quite a gem. We got the Surf and Turf taco. The size was perfect for a small appetite, but I could see that adding a smaller street taco would be a perfect meal. The flavors were awesome; some heat but not too much. Layers upon layers of flavor and the green salsa was superb. Meat was super tender and of high quality, and paired with a local brew, perfecto! We will return!

Great food! I work nearby and will definitely be visiting again! Also a big fan of how their online prices accurately reflect the menu.

Going to update my review. The carne asada tacos were super dry. They were like chopped/ground beef. It was really weird. The chicken tacos were also very dry. The ribeye taco was cold and chewy too. Damn this disappoints me.

A little unassuming shop next to the train. I ordered the surf and turf burrito and the crane asada taco. The taco was definitely one of the better tacos I've had in a while ! They also have a green sauce and a orange sauce - beware the orange sauce is a mayo based sauce w a lot of fire. For me , it was amazing , but I know lots of people that wouldn't be able to handle that. The burrito was also above average. It's a bit flatter than you'd expect. The young lady at the cashier was very sweet and pleasant. It has an outside and inside seating area. Happy to have found this place !

The ribeye taco is the single best taco we’ve ever had. Period.

The flavor mix was pleasant. However I found the carne asada very dry, and the mix taco (right on the picture) didn't look like it was really worth 10$ by itself.
